This is so cool

I have a few broken SNES controllers this is a perfect solution for
That's pretty cool! Might get one to mod the NES Classic Controller.
It's extremely easy. you literally just swap the pcb. no soldering or anything required.

seems to come with a 3.5mm to usb cable for charging that goes in the cable hole at the top
• Includes rechargeable battery attached to PCB and a special 3.5mm to USB cable. Recharges just like a modern controller!
• We designed a custom component to fit in the wired cable hole on the original controller that allows you to recharge easily!
"You can recharge it just like a modern controller. We designed a custom component that fits in your original controller's wired cable hole. Rechargeable batter right on the PCB. Includes a special cable with a USB plug on the end that allows you to recharge. Bringing the 90's to 2018."

an fyi they also sell a bluetooth adapter for original consoles so you can still use them on your real snes (or super nt) too. it's literally giving an old controller new & multipurpose life
Damn, that's as brainless as it can get!
Now make one for the GameCube 8bitdo.
God I really want to play Star Allies but it's $100 here
As someone with minor experience with tech stuff, I can build computers and such. How difficult would you say this was to do I'm hella interested.
don't do it. those plastic cases are really low quality. they feel weird, they're flimsy, and it's incredibly easy to strip screws in them (source: me)
as nice as the idea of transparent joycons are, these are no substitute for an official nintendo product. they're just cheap, nasty, and ugly. and also, disassembling and reassembling a joycon is a monumental pain in the ass, and i take apart a lot of controllers.
Does the Dpad at least feel better? I hate stock.
Dpad feels great to me. Rusty had a bad experience but I wouldn't say the plastic is bad (Same material as the stock controllers), there's just a few minor things to look out for that I can help you with.
I find them quite easy to do now. I did both the left and right without issue in under 30 minutes.
what?? it's not even close! the stock ones have a grippy coating that the third party ones absolutely do not have
It's the same exact material, it's just a smooth finish. To each their own on that change.
I have used this spray before, do not expect it to last long on something you're constantly gripping.
Warioware Gold replaced the Virtual Boy in the Gamer minigame from Game and Wario with a Wii U

What did they mean by this
Because quote leaves no context to go on, for you other fellas: this is Octopath spoilers.
You can subclass as early as you want, you just have to find the shrines for it. The majority of them are on the way toward "chapter 2" towns. They show up on the minimap.
Their most recent failed product goes there.

Mario Tennis Aces 1.1.2 update drops tomorrow, and it comes with full patch notes.

GameXplain put up what they changed from the Wii U version of Captain Toad, and wow I completely forgot the 3D World levels were not the Captain Toad levels from that game, but actual 3D World levels. While I liked the old post credits better, this was a welcome change.
It's essentially a new controller designed for an old shell then.
I mean, that's cool but it's not gonna be exactly the same lol
Holy shit, this makes the game a shit ton more interesting.
I recently ordered a 200GB microsdxc to replace my current 32GB one, and I'm wondering: would it be possible to just reinstall the games, or do I need to transfer them to keep my save data?
you should be able to just copy and paste everything from one to the other.

That is a little pricy for a Sega Genesis game.
For Sonic, yeah, for sure. At the very least, they recently obtained the Thunder Force IP in full, so I could at least understand them wanting to recoup some of that (especially since IV is the most-desired title).

June 2019
it uses the same rubbers, buttons, shells. assuming it'll have just as little input delay as all their other controllers (imperceptible even by my high standard), how is it a 'new' controller? itll be the exact same experience as using an original but without a wire
What exactly makes you say that?
I'm trying to figure it out. I have a stock grey set and my clear purple ones here and neither has any give what so ever. Did you not sand down your right Joycon rail leaving a gap that flexes? That's my best guess.
