i can literally take the clear joycon case. and bend it with my hands extremely easily. the real one is a lot more rigid. i can put it all together and press into it along the edge and it bends inward. it's not quality. it's cheap ebay/aliexpress shit, i don't know why this is surprising?
This is the surprising part.
I have 3 different sets in front of me and on neither of them can I do that. You had to have missed the gap/sanding step that's unfortunately required by one part of the mold being bad.
I never knew how much I needed this game until now.

Probably the most interesting part of that article was reading that Kirby Super Star had a scrapped horror subgame, and looking into further articles that it never got past planning because the gimmick would have been that Kirby had his mouth sealed shut and would have to use items he'd grab as a substitute for powers.

In short:
-Gain more meter overall
-Lose more on failed Trick Shots
-Range of rackets is shorter and tighter
-In Doubles, you cannot Body Shot the non-returning player to win a point anymore.
-And massively nerfs Jr.'s charge speed, run speed and reach
The evil has been defeated.
I know not too many people have played it, but for some of you, do you remember a track in the SNES SuperFX title Stunt Race FX where you drive through a pair of separate buildings in left-hand turns through tunnels on a city level before getting on a winding overpass? (Skip to 27:45, there aren't many videos on the net for it, unfortunately)

Well, it clicked with me that this is probably inspired by the Gate Tower Building's passthrough in Osaka: (The whole video is pretty good, but if just clicking to compare, jump to 4:15)

On a similar, Nintendo-related note on roads. The railroad crossings on Kalimari Desert in Mario Kart 64 probably don't sound like any you've heard despite the blatant western theme. Ever wondered why? It's because they used Japanese rail crossing sounds for it, which were also prevalent in a lot of Japanese-made music keyboards at the time, even in the west!
Just downloaded Bomb Chicken on my Switch. That game is really neat. Highly recommend it.

Guess it's time to pick up the game. The balance is what was worrying me.
Obvious. But it's nice to see nonetheless, after Crash coming to the other platforms.
I really hope they can port it well. Afaik it uses Unreal 4. So I hope for more than 480p than Crash on Switch in handheld. Hopefully they get it in the 600p range, though that would be optimistic.
I can't for the life of me get my mouse to work with Dolphin and Metroid Prime Trilogy
WarioWare Gold Demo up on US eShop.
Crash played very nicely even on 480p. I'm fine with Spyro being the same as long as framerate is consistent.
720p docked and 480p in portable mode is far enough for most games, especially heavily stylized ones like Crash and Spyro where the art direction helps go past these technical issues.
Honestly the only game I've seen be a real issue is Wolfenstein II.
With that new bike and Link outfit, I place a good bet on an Odyssey tie-in.
So, since I'm going to be playing Smash Bros pretty much exclusively in handheld mode - partly due to that having the lowest possible input lag, but mostly because I find big, wide controllers more comfortable - I'm definitely going to be needing some sort of grip case.
I've seen the one from Skull & Co but its grips look a tad small. Mind you I'm of the larger-handed persuasion, so the bigger the grips, the better it'll be. And I don't care about docking it.
480p on Switch is a unacceptable in my eyes. 720p standard or bust. This isnt the WiiU, this isnt last gen, cmon. I get it, its a handheld but im not accepting 480p
It would be cool if they added back race finish times to the race results.
I look forward to a New Donk City track with a Tyrannosaurus hazard in the future.
I've got some bad news then: Some games can get into around 300p (mostly handheld). Only the ones that use adaptive resolution (basically a given on any Unreal game).
Some titles that do it is Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Fortnite, DOOM, and Wolvenstein.
Thankfully this isn't as bad as it sounds considering how small the screen is. Sometimes I think that 720p is too high; looks like I'm looking at a goddamn iPhone Retina screen.

Alright but can we please get ALTTP/ALBW Zelda?
That's pretty cool but kind of wished it was Zelda, now we have 2 Link in MK8D. I do hope this mean we're getting more free character DLC in the future.
Imagine buying the DLC in the Wii U version for Link only to be given another one for free on Switch
Even Mario Odyssey can get below 480p in some specific scenes, but it both runs at 60fps, and only does so for the exact number of frames it needs to, so you almost NEVER notice it.
Odyssey does this all the freaking time too. In many kingdoms it downscales by almost half, but only while Mario or the camera is moving quickly.
