My dudes Mario Tennis comes out in a few days I'm big excited
I still have yet to even get Splatoon 2. Or ARMS...
Nah, they definitely do. Also, Pearl totally said FUCK twice in one of the chatlogs and it's now canon!
and once in audio form in her song!
Having gone way deeper into the expansion, I can say that with enough practice and timing you shouldn't need them- but there are some stages, like quickly changing between two targets, that feel way easier with them on, and I was very frustrated at them. Somehow, the stages I found after those missions were significantly easier, at least for me.
How long until we see art from you featuring a octoling killing (final boss) vaporwave
Octo Expansion Endgame Spoilers
I was a fan of this song, I kept wanting to play that again.
Splatoon 2 would be perfect if only for the fact that you can't turn off its unbelievably repetitive shitty music off
http://www.ign.com//articles/2018/06/15/e3-2018-why-nintendo-sees-switch-online-as-the-virtual-console-successor Looks like they aren't going to sell virtual console games separately for the switch. Really seems like this is their way of justifying them charging $20 a year for really bad online.
I feel like they're going to step it up depending on player feedback- if there are more of those like you who want better games to pay for, they'll have more games and more systems supported. Given that the team behind the Classics are the same working on the VC, I wonder if that means more of those games will show up. Of course I should point out that I'm buying it for the cloud saves and the fact that I can get a "family plan" with my friends and only pay 5 bucks, so I might be less attached to my money than others on this.
Considering how fucking awful online is thus far, are they kidding themselves?
I've been pretty hype for the new Smash but Switch Online has me kinda worried now that I've been thinking about it. On both WiiU and 3DS playing 1v1 with a friend has always been fine but I can count on one hand how many 4-player online matches I've played where it hasn't been a laggy unplayble mess. Assuming Smash Ultimate has the same suite of online modes as Smash 4, I'm not sure I'd feel okay paying for online where everything but 1v1 is an unplayable mess thanks to Nintendo's fuckawful infrastructure.
Oh yeah, I forgot that we're going to need Nintendo Online to play Smash on the net now. I just hope they fix the netcode for the game, it wasn't that great in Smash 4. I don't remember how it was for Brawl.
mostly unplayable
Or I could play those classic games on all the other consoles I already bought them for. Or I could build a Raspberry Pi emulator. Or I could start a retro game collection. Really, some old games that I'll lose the instant I stop paying for your service aren't great incentives, Nintendo, especially when there are about forty other, better ways I could play them. All in all I'm just really disappointed that I'll never get to play Mario 64 on the Switch and it'll probably take until 2022 before I even have the option to do so.
Most people are really mad at this and already plan to just homebrew their console. I think what's the biggest issue here is that Nintendo is not revealing their future plans early so people just go: "A VC successor with only NES games?" or "NES games for the next 5 years, fuck off Nintendo" etc.

So I guess everyone who played on the map is now gonna get banned?
I hope not, since it gets even more fucked up according to this. There's archive links to tweets in the rest of the thread too. Also, going by the comments to the tweet, 2 of the folks in the hackers team didn't know this was going to happen. I know loading different maps to everyone else was a thing in the first game, but this just takes it to a whole other level.

BotW Link is too hot for kids tbh.
Spaltrun 2 is on sale as part of the E3 demo (at 20 dollars cheaper than it is normally) I'm tossing up whether to get it or not. Is there enough single player content to keep it going for a while?
I reckon the main campaign was 6-10 hours, depending on how good you are and whether you want to collect everything. The expansion adds a lot more to that, with 80+ short-ish stages that are much more challenging than the previous ones. It is still primarily a multiplayer game, and there are a lot of things to unlock and modes to play. If you played the first one you'll know what you're getting into, but it feels a lot more polished and varied this time around.
he looks 15...
