Another thing, does anyone know what causes the voting screen to sometimes not accept inputs until you hud_reloadscheme, or the scoreboard not being interactive?
imagine being forced to do a rocket jump irl to pay hightower.
i'm not a blender expert but i believe gestures are a layer of animation that's blended on another animation in real time so the upper torso of a midair soldier could be juggling rockets with the taunt while his lower body just wiggles in mid-air as if the player wasn't doing anything special this can be seen in mvm when a sapped robot is moved around. And let me tell you it looks great.
I don't think the animations would blend very well with walking/jumping animations, considering the animations were done with the understanding that characters would be standing still while doing them.
Only airborne taunt we need is Soldier melee.

Duels are great, just play Sniper with the Sydney Sleeper and get an assist point, then run back to spawn and conga until the round ends.

No. Yes, TF2 makes a lot of money for Valve. However, the thing I am talking about is why the Netherlands hasn't asked valve to take action about TF2. What you are saying doesn't explain why they have not noticed or do not care.

I think the best strategy to win duels is to just duel bad players. New player hats + standing at the bottom of the scoreboard.
That's boring. I always go from the top down on the enemy's side of the scoreboard every round.

Where's the fun in that? These people rarely tend to even accept duels They also tend to be the first ones to die so good luck trying to kill them yourself.

I was surprised by how much people played fair. They didn't do "haha time 2 hide on spawn", at most class exchanges. Other times we had so much fun just yelling about random crits or suicide by explosive damage. Trust me, mate. One day you'll reach your goal and enjoy being one of the few 1MBotKiller!. Just don't hit the reset achievement button.
Fun is subjective. The primary purpose is to farm the duel badge (in a more legitmate way than sandboxie + alt account). You only need to get 1 assist to win a duel (as long as the other guy doesn't score at all). Playing medic or stuff like this will work: If you need to convince them to accept it, then this can work:
I love when people waste a duel on me just to "prove me wrong".
I recommend taking a break from that now.
friendly attacks should NEVER collide with/be blocked by fellow teammates not just melee. i am talking hitscan, projectiles, everything. we're long past valve's ancient "but it help spi xd" mindset
it's a "they had to stop developing collision detection at some point" spin on the latter, unless they plan to have spies be able to disguise as buildings
I even had a direct hit pipe harmlessly bounce from a friendly soldier standing still,its silly.
and don't forget arrow projectile firing guns having built in hitsounds that work against disguised spies
