Shell that should have ricocheted hits the 15mm of steel there to protect the commander's noggin, and fucking magically explodes with the entirety of the blast magnetizing towards the crew / ammo instead of just tearing the thing off like a piece of paper as it should and continuing on it's way.

the rest of the goddamn match at that tier though: fucking end me. piles upon piles of M1s and their variants, so German + Soviet teams get to enjoy being consistently curbstomped by fleets of Abrams. It sucks. A lot. And that's before we get into the spawncamping you can do with helis and atgms, let alone how easy it is for the M1 to cross the map really fucking fast and capture/spawncamp before you even know what the fuck just hit you
High tier is basically just US shitting on everyone else right now.
Even when you clean up a bunch of abrams somehow you still lose 9 times out of 10
This is why the T-55AM1 is great. Not for the tank itself, but for it's BR. 8.7 is the last fun battlerating in the game, anything above gets magnetized up into 10.0 and fucked by Abramseses.

Naval forces is so wonk right now. Anything with any resemblance of a proper AA gun on it absolutely shreds enemy boats and that friggin US AA pontoon boat literally slaughters everything. Also, AP is the name of the game.

It's an F2P game that needs to make money. I kinda wish it was possible to buy just a permanent upgrade for like 50 or something.
Why would they ever do that when they can sell you a single tank and two weeks of upgrade for the same price?
Its also been less of an issue up until recently as with the addition of higher tier vehicles the research and lions requirements have exploded comparatively.
Its not that the issue is new, its that its being multiplied in severity with the new vehicles and the changes to ground forces spawn point costs, more vehicles per game highlights the issue when your getting the same RP/Money but are expending 3 times the amount of ammo/deaths doing so.
Don't get on your high horse and act like you know everything without considering the reasons behind people being annoyed.
At this point, I'm just gonna try and stay away from Tier 5 and forget about full-on grinding things beyond.
All the early stuff prior tier 3 is really fun and that's where the game is at its peak imo and most 'balanced'.

I like how they fixed the Type 60 ATM and then in the same update they broke it again by making the ATGMs explode at 1000m.
For anyone that has jumped in on the grind to unlock Helicopters early instead of shekeling out and hasn't finished it yet, you will be moderately pleased to know that you do NOT need BOTH a Rank 5 Aircraft and Tank to buy the first Helicopter; EITHER a Rank 5 Tank or Aircraft by itself will do, so you don't have to grind anything else should you not already have both.
I completed the dumb grind by playing 7.7 Soviets, quite easy (bias), I skipped 3 days and finished it today and bought the AH-1G and the Mi-4A just like that.

Climbing to altitude in one of the earliest aircraft is depressingly slow (the first LaGG), By the time I get to the bombers' height after descending to take on fighter-bombers, everyone else has wiped them out and two other waves. Prolly should have looked at the climb rates before choosing to research that one.

I mean, you are using vehicles of the wrong Rank spread on a Rank 5 jet and Rank 6 tank and thus you lose like 50-75% of your RP gains...

Yeah, I love it. Because nobody needs the puma in tier 5 right. I really feel that the tier of the match should determine RP gain, not the tier of the tank.
Wish they'd do something about some of the coop maps, but I guess it's a very very distant concern. Maginot Line is so up-and-down in hills that the AI effectively has complete cover until they're right in the cap zone. And god forbid you go chase them down (and nobody else will), cos they're all gonna zero in on you, turn you into swiss cheese, then cap. Sinai is almost coverless for the player depending on where waves spawn, you'll get shot at from all sides and in certain tiers you may find yourself up against tanks that're extraordinarily difficult to pen (fortunately for now the Panzerjager I deals with Valentines rather efficiently).
GJ Gaijin, if BMP-2 gunner optics get destroyed you become unable to launch ATGMs, and since you can't fix optics
