Yeah I think it's support only, thanks though!
I love the tanks.
I think the Lee Einfield is actually pretty darn good. It's a more aggressive style of weapon for more mid range fights due to its higher RPM, but of course not a good for mid/close fights as the semi auto.
Some guy is was yelling in chat about how unrealistic the game is. I typed "Im just waiting for the Indiana Jones DLC to come out" It censored DLC.
did it do the *** thing or did it just not send the message?
It asterisks it out. Seen people complaining about it in chat - one guy was trying to tell people what CPU he had and the model was getting censored.
God DAMN I want another magazine for reloading. Or just being able to scav some ammo from friendlies or something. it doesn’t make sense that a fucking gewher has only 2 mags of ammo.
This is like, the thing that will ruin this BF like most others. Pubbies completely ignoring squads. I recognise they've done a lot to enforce squad gameplay, but I'd honestly want to see more.
And people standing on top of you and not reviving, which is really common somehow.
Funny, because in this beta alone, I'm sure as hell that I've been revived much more than all my time in BF1 thanks to how noticeable as hell the whole medic cry is It might be because those who have pre-ordered are probably more experienced and confident players, but I can't get off on how all the changes has basically made any remotely cohesive squad a stupid powerful force that's absurdly hard to kill. There's multiple instances already where even in no-comm pubbie squads, we held/capped an objective so goddamn long thanks to the buddy revive and how we kept ourselves ahead every fight by resupplying each other.
Yeah like, a good squad is definitely GOOD in this came, compared to bf1 or bf4, so I'm glad thats an improvement. Same if you're in a vehicle, with competent driver and gunner you can actually use tanks without being instantly memed thank god.
Tiger's are so big huge that you can safety sit behind them to repair them without exposing yourself to enemy fire from most angles. Also in case you don't know. Pressing t to use the toolbox as support allows you to repair tanks if you go up to them (have to try as another class to confirm if its just support). Really useful now that you have limited self repair, and I've only seen two people do it (including myself). Its a feature that wasn't well advertised.
A little K89 shooting gallery play by me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MgkMp9ApvXM
Doesn't it bother anyone now that you can't switch kits on the fly? It's literally been a staple of the game since the very beginning, why isn't anyone making a fuss about it?
What do you mean?
I haven't had access to the alpha or beta yet so maybe I misremember what people were saying but aren't you only able to switch weapons instead of whole kits now when you kill enemies?
Wasn't switching kits introduced in Bad Company? I thought the prior games just let you take enemy weapons.
How is everyone finding it? I'm not bothered to play the beta and I can't tell from videos. Is it sufficiently immersive (and gritty I guess) or is it cartoonishly arcade-y like the vibes the trailers give?
How about you play it an decide for yourself.
Switching kits has been in every battlefield game, at least since 2.
I found it fun stealing a medic's rifle as support and camp with it.
Because I haven’t and won’t preorder it. I’m sorry if asking for initial impressions offended you.
There is an open beta tomorrow.
cool, I was under the impression the beta was paywalled. thanks.
nah only the first 2 days of beta are paywalled, well unless you send ea an email: https://www.reddit.com/r/Battlefield/comments/9ctu60/no_need_to_preorder_for_early_access_bfv_beta/
Things I already dislike: 1: The squad system. The preorder/preload crowd knows what the deal is, but once this goes into public beta the amount of revives to ammo is gonna shrink so fast. This might be a game dropper for a lot of people. 2: AMMO. Why do I have like 9 magazines for my pistol, but like 2 for my rifle? 3: Stompability. It seems a lot harder to have a good “comeback” match anymore, especially with the changes to damage and the squads
Yeah, I dislike the limited ammo and squad system, especially the squad spawning. I know it's supposed to make it easier for squads to stick together, but ech, the amount of people I see just camping behind lines shitting out squadmates so they can shoot folk in the back is irritating, especially on Narvik. I wouldn't mind if squad spawns were scout radio beacon only.
Wait what for 3? Most of matches have come down to single ticket difference so far, with multiple times the lagging team making a comeback if they attacked certain points at the right times.
Yes. From the reports I've seen, it's not in Battlefield V and I'm surprised nobody is making a big deal out of it since it's such an important part of the franchise.
is it really? I thought it was a weird gimmick back in bf1942
