If Living Armor blocks more than the damage instance would do does it still stop Guise?
Living Armor would block the invisibility counter from reseting, but you'll have to remember that you need to put more than a couple points into it to be effective. A lvl1 L.A. will block 4x20dmg instances, which if you take into consideration his low base armor he'll still be taking enough damage from even auto attacks to reset the N.G. counter. It gets better later on for sure (4x20, 5x40, 6x60, 7x80), but that means you're not putting early points into killing potential.
For an agro dual lane to even work for Treant, you'll need a carry that has both the ability to counter the above mentioned weakness of N.G. as well as the early kill potential that you're after with that build. A couple of examples are Abaddon with his Aphotic Shield (110/140/170/200) and Sven with his new reworked Warcry (110/220/330/440).
Also, I probably don't need to mention this, but the battle of sentries in mid-high mmr games as well as the smart cores that quell all of his trees means that Treant can be countered harder than you'd like.
Whenever Slark is good, Void lurks in the shadows, waiting to strike.
Awwwyeaaa. Brewmaster is fun af! His only job isn't to rush aghs anymore and with his talents he can make a decent semi-carry~
PA can actually cancel sniper ulti by just going into fog and pressing E lmfao
Opened the mail today thinking "What the fuck did I order from Seattle?"

Yay :3
Does anyone want to buy some TI8 immortals. I have a large amount of duplicates.
Whatcha got, man? .....And uh, how would we even commence a private transaction?
I have duplicates of every TI8 immortal except the ultra rare ones.
Those immortals are on trade hold till TI9. But you can gift them to someone who has been on your friends list for 1 month. It's similar to how people trade those ti8 cache sets.
The thing is that gifting doesn't use the steam trade interface, so one person has to go first.
To top it off, apparently you can't even earn free cards, you need to buy them. So if true, it's entirely built upon microtransactions.
I think everyone knew it was pure aids the second it was announced. 'The Dota Card game'. Pure Valve greed and lazyness rolled into one.
I have a slight interest in it, but there's just way to many cons and not enough pros.
Artifact is similar to the MtG Online game. That one costs money to make an account, and to buy more cards.
MtG online is not to be confused with the newer MtG arena. That one is an online free to play game, but you can pay for cards. It's probably in the P2W zone to some extent. And it only has cards from newer sets.
I was kind of interested initially, just because Valve rushed in to cash in on a current trend doesn't automatically mean the game will end up being bad: In fact, from what I've seen, the gameplay of Artifact is actually very good (with the exception of all the fucking RNG)
They just decided to fuck over F2P players because greed is good, I suppose?
If they really are greedy, they would've gone f2p.
Nonetheless there are draft mode where you don't need decks to play. But the casual play (without event ticket) is just... horrible. People don't play seriously, they concede when things don't go their way on turn 3. Meanwhile Expert play (entry with event ticket) people fight to the bitter end which is some of the most exhilarating and exhausting moments I've had with card games, constant back and forth for 30+ minutes. Anyways, I've heard some budget players sell the cards from the $20 entry and managed to salvage about 85% of their money, but the market is currently fluctuating so who knows how it will be a week down the line.

Rubick Arcana and new Christmas event, get ready for all the terrible Rubick players to swarm! (and if you have the Pudge arcana, 2-for-1)
Rubick got custom spell efects for 100s of spells.
Heads up, prepare to rip your hair out waiting for the game coordinator to find games. It was fine when the patch dropped but you're better off waiting a day or two until matchmaking isn't a slog to sit through.
I'm shocked the Rubick Arcana is done so fast, it usually takes them almost a year. Also impressive that the stolen spells aren't just simply colored green.
I'm thinking it's got something to do with the amount of people playing, because I played it within an hour of the update and I could open lobbies and find matches super quick but now that everyone knows about the update I can't even make a bot match to unwind by myself.
I'm guessing they started working towards his Arcana already when he almost won last year, him being a very popular hero.
Makes a lot of sense actually, you're right. Next year will be Invokers turn for sure.

I don't have a problem with spiders but that one made me genuinely sick, I'll have to pull a AVGN quote but what the fuck were they thinking.
I'm a bit phobic of spiders, but Brood doesn't bother me. Is it really that bad?
