Ok, so I'm collecting all of the GOOD fan hacks of Pokemon games, can anyone recommend any I don't have, I've currently got Pokemon Glazed Pokemon Light Platinum Pokemon Flora Sky Pokemon Snakewood (I hear this one isn't good per say, but it's theme is most certainly "different")

Pokemon Liquid Crystal: A great GBA remake of Crystal version with a working Day/Night cycle and Gen 4 move mechanics, with tons of additional content too. Pokemon Thunder Yellow: a Gen 3 remake of Pokemon Yellow with a Pikachu that follows you around Pokemon Black Advanced: A neat Gen 5 demake on the GBA, currently in a demo state.
Pokemon Crystal Clear as well

In light of the Smash leaks, I'm looking back on the drama behind the gen 5 starter evo leaks. https://i.imgur.com/KxTlAx8.png
I remember some poeple going very deep in defending their own speculations, not to mention when the Fairy type was leaked. New gen speculations on starters is always interesting to follow and gen 4, 5 and 6 brought some unique moments to read. You had the "everything is fake" and "believe in my sources or burst" groups. Wait, the pig gets a bipedal evolution? Google search: Did you mean Fire/Fighting
oh god all the new gen fake starter mons are the worst Can't a man get his reliable, not-fake news in peace
Another big woop for Go, they're linking with Apple Health and Google Fit with Go now so you don't have the game on to hatch eggs and get buddy candy. https://pokemongolive.com/post/adventure-sync And in future merch news, looks like Piplup is coming to Build a Bear for the holidays. https://twitter.com/PokeshopperVGC/status/1055404577481199617
I may have misunderstood, but are the Apple Health and Google Fit devices required for Adventure Sync? I thought that was already a thing with Pokemon GO Plus.
From how it reads you just need the app for it to work.
You know funny story i remember back when I originally bought Heartgold, I was playing it and I got to the point where you get to the Red Shiny Gyarados, I swam to it, fought it, caught it and while swimming back I thought to myself "boy wouldn't it be hilarious if I encountered a shiny magikarp right now" like a random encounter or two later, guess what I fucking found. A shiny fucking magikarp, it was like both my luck hitting me like a truck and a spit in the face because... Who the fuck want's a shiny magikarp when you already have a shiny Gyarados.
I have 3 shiny Vanillites and 2 shiny Murkrow thanks to horde training in X; guess I'll have a living shiny dex of those lines.
Only time I've been lucky finding shines was one time where I was just randomly hatching eggs in Heartgold to get a nature I want with Yanma and suddenly got EXACTLY what I wanted and it was shiny too. And another time when I was playing through X and ran into a shiny Oddish with the exact nature I was looking for as well, I've been relatively good in regards to my shiny luck, except for the Magikarp thing that is... Though I guess it was a sort of luck in that respect.
Luck with shiny Pokemon is always weird to me, unless I am actively looking for one I never see one. Like I have only ever randomly found a shiny Tentacool in Soul Silver and a shiny Carbink in Sun, but when I go looking or hatching for a shiny I am suddenly flooded with them. Hatching Grimer for a shiny? Here have two of them side by side, literal shiny twins. Looking for a shiny Grubbin? Here have a Shiny Yungoos and then find the Grubbin in the next encounter. Hatching for a shiny Nidoran? Here have this shiny Zigzagoon because you accidentally biked into some grass. Looking for a shiny Cubone? Here have the rare shiny Kangaskhan instead, oh still looking for that Cubone in the same hour? Okay here have one. This has happened multiple times to me in the last few years and I am not complaining about it cause my shiny box tripled in size because of it. I just wish I could randomly find an early game shiny to use through a play through just once.
You don't look for shinies, shinies happen. By the way, I just realized that Lugia and Ho-Oh's themes from HGSS are elaborated remixes of the Johto wild Pokemon theme, and my mind has been blown away.
makes sense since they didnt have any special encounter music in the originals i think it was mentioned in some official video about the development of hgss, as well
Still, far better than the Kanto legends having off-key versions of the standard theme (although Mew's theme in Emerald was nice, as it was a tad more altered, and all in all was the Kanto wild Pokemon theme in a Hoenn game). Still, Mewtwo's Stadium/Pinball theme was the better approach.
https://i.imgur.com/OVV2Unh.jpg So I ordered my competitive-grade collection that takes up half my PC. Gen I, with all the expansions it got over time, is huge. At the moment it has a total of 100 fully evolved 'mons bound to it (103 incluiding divergent NFE's Scyther and Porygon 2, as well as Miltank, which seems to be part of Tauros' family according to the Alola Dex). Runners up are V with 82, and III with 78. Gen VI is tiny, despite having an Eternal Floette-shaped hole in it, it only has 38 'mons. Gen VII ends up being deceptivelly large, due to the sheer number of legendaries: 57 'mons, beating out Gen II's 50 (51 if we send Miltank there) and Gen IV's 48. My hand gets tired faster that I believed while taking pictures.
Can't find an English trailer for it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYNN5ESJE6c
I love that music I'm guessing tomorrow because Halloween.

I booted up Pokemon Go the other day and gave it a look for the first time since it launched. Had a bit of fun, but 'yknow, still not really my thing. It had me thinking the same thoughts that I was thinking back when it launched those years ago: it really needs the traditional pokemon battle system tacked onto it. We know now that it was simply never going to happen that way, but imagine if they did have some sort of representation of the mainline battle mechanics in there. Pokemon Let's Go might be entirely unnecessary, with Pokemon Go functionality simply being yet another gimmick in the next mainline title.
Pokemon GO explicity doesn't have main series battle mechanics to avoid self-cannibalization in the franchise.
