Yeah, but that's also the game that gave us: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kAHHFc-gIeI And that just makes it not work any more.
But we already have a Pokemon fangame like that. /s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uGgUHdAPX0
I really want the following and rideable Pokemon from Let's Go to return in Gen VIII. Don't give me that shit of making each game memorable by taking features away.
Is Pokemon Lets Go worth playing I heard its dumb downed to sheEEIT
As far as I can tell it's just not worth it if you actually keep up with and play Pokemon, but it's nice for those who want to return or just have a bit of a nostalgia hit.

Remakes and third versions always sell less than new games, after all. Let's see in a year how things go.
What a day. https://twitter.com/JoeMerrick/status/1065213485846413313 https://twitter.com/JoeMerrick/status/1065217261173039104 https://twitter.com/JoeMerrick/status/1065221035492921344 https://twitter.com/JoeMerrick/status/1065224810463195136 ORAS is four? Jesus.
ORAS are as old now as GS were when Colosseum was released. Colosseum, AKA the game that banked on "let's make GS Pokemon obtainable". Fuck we are old.
Just found my first shiny in let's go. I also failed my first shiny in let's go. It was a fucking pidgey too, how the fuck?

Welp, this more than makes up for the Pidgey https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Dskv25ZU8AU9dO2.jpg
Did I read right that GO doesn't even have pokemon abilities? They may as well make a children's graphic novel at that point.
No abilities, no held items (the Mega Evolutions just happen from your backpack), lots of cut attacks and everything past Mew except Meltan and Melmetal are dummied out.
Woah woah, mega evolutions? Are they sure that the target audience can handle such a complicated and strategic element?
To be honest, did they cut out anything that was in Gen 1 in the first place?
They're still programmed into the game, but disabled and the flavor text hidden. Pokemon from #152 onwards still exist in the game too, but unfortunately have had all their learnsets scrubbed.
Learnsets and models, so they appear as Marowaks for some reason.
thats pathetic lol
I'll never understand people who are any more than disappointed at something like this. Like, yikes, that's just a horrible way to look at it. "Pathetic?"
More reasons to believe that they are building gen 8 off the same engine branch.

If i were to get a nintendo handheld for Alpha Sapphire, would a 2DS be a bad move?
i don’t even mean to sound “over dramatic” but i I find it disgusting that people prefer the new capturing mechanic to normal fighting. i honestly thought people were trolling when they said cut out the fighting wild Pokémon mechanic
It really depends on how cheap you want and how ok you are with the 2DS design, because in terms of the 3D effect you'd be missing absolutely nothing. Alpha Sapphire chugs during battle as it is, you'll almost never actually use the 3D feature due to the nauseating frame drop.
I have a regular 2DS, and will say if you're on a really tight budget get it, since it's the cheapest. However the thing wasn't made for grown human hands and can be awkward to hold for long periods. I haven't held a 2DS XL so I wouldn't know how that compares.
2DS XL is looking like the choice for me.
The gen 8 game has been in development longer than Let's Go. They started developing the 2019 title in 2016. Game Freak has two development divisions. One is veteran devs only. They make all the complete new gen titles. The other team is full of new employees, supervised by a few veterans. They only get to work on remakes to learn the basics of making a Pokemon game. Let's Go is obviously developed by them, which also made the development speed much faster because they removed many features as well. I think we can expect the 2019 title to have a different look and feel. Gen 8 will be based on Gen 7. Which means: Less grid based layouts, adult character looks, more view angles (hopefully a rotating camera), etc.
I honestly never had a problem with the doorstopper being awkward to use, and I have yaoi hands.
