I actually can't believe I'm this excited for Detective Pikachu. Like, it's probably gonna be super by-the-numbers, but the idea of a functional Pokemon world on this scale is so goddamn intriguing to me. Like, you've got Machamp directing traffic and fucking Blastoise fighting Gengar in an underground cage match, this shit is gonna be worth the price of admission for the visuals alone.

To be fair to Serebii even if he did know this was a legit leak, he would've probably went deny deny deny after apparently getting in some hot water after hosting leaks of the generation V starters.
Of course, that's why going around confirming/deconfirming leaks would lead nowhere. Just have fun and don't be a dick.

Maybe I'm a shill but I'll bother simply because it's Pokemon on Switch.
I'll buy it so long as it's not another Let's Go type. I'm fine with motion controls and no wild battles and all that jazz, so long as it stays firmly in its own "babby's first pokerman" subgenre and doesn't taint the main games.
I believe the insinuation back when they announced gen 8 alongside LGPE was "Don't worry veteran fans there's a non-PGo related entry in 2019".
While I do hope they retain the Pokemon in the overworld, hopefully catching and encountering will stick closer to what we've come to expect.
I hope they don't do anymore of the outside app shit for gen 8. Integrate pokebank and anything using a website into the damn game.
