Overwatch League comes to ESPN, Disney and ABC Overwatch league is playing live on ESPN, ABC and .... disney? why?

Disney has been really trying to make XD their "yeah gamerz" network. Disney XD has streamed E3 the last several years and they have blocks dedicated to showing lets players and tournaments. They are also sticking anime on there for some reason.

Overwatch could easily work as a cheesy saturday morning cartoon for kids. It has no coherent plot, plenty of "fun and wacky" characters and the aforementioned comic-book style action that kids love "Next time on the Overwatch Show! Can Tracer and Winston stop the evil forces of Talon from destroying the Magical Plot Device of Who-Gives-A-Shit? Find out next week!" could even have the cheesy He-Man style PSA's at the end of each episode where Jeff tells you not to smoke weed

Why the fuck did they stick with Wrecking Ball? No other character is named like that in the game?

Doomfist? Tracer? Symmetra? Roadhog? Junkrat? Reaper? Widowmaker? Mercy? Soldier: 76? All codenames you'd expect to find in a super hero story. Wrecking Ball is no different.

Wrecking Ball is two names, separate, representing an object and doesn't at all sound like a nickname. The character also has a fucking real name that is simpler to say that fits in with the only other character related to his part of the cast..

Wrecking Ball is the alias he used when he competed in the Junkertown arena. Hammond modified his escape pod to become the cockpit of his own mech, which he built around it, to enter the lucrative mech battle arena of the Scrapyard. Working his way up the ranks amongst the Junkers, the competitor known as "Wrecking Ball" went from contender to champion and had fun winning numerous times, though the pilot's identity remained a mystery to all. It is literally the name he went by and is also exactly how his skill set plays. I think it's a perfectly fine name and fits with all the other characters.

I just think it's a unwieldy mouthful.

Callouts will also always be "Hamster"; "Ham"; "Ball"; "Bullshit bumper cars machine thing" anyway, so it's okay if the lore says otherwise.
