hell yeah Lucio core again
time for me to get back to masters
I typically dont ask myself anything about blizzards balancing changes
like how Moira healing through barriers was a bad thing.
Or How Mercy's Ressurect is the problem and always will be but now we're nerfing her primary fire
But hey Lucio got some nice shit.
Im completely ok with the increase to moira though (definitely not bias) but I kind of feel like the pharah mercy combo is still just so damn strong, not because you have this invincible pharah flying around that you -have- to counter but because it gives mercy this get out of jail free card when anyone tries to go after her.
Oh the X came after you? just fly straight up to the pharah.
On the other side of the same coin, without the pharah she ends up getting randomly killed by things like junkrat nades or a lucky mcree headshot that usually don't feel like anyone was particularly in control of what happened, it just sort of happened and now one team is down a healer because she had no way to escape anyone coming after her.
I don't agree with the healing being lowered mainly because her res really is the only thing that makes her better than moira in most matches save for having a pharah. Other than that moira can still heal a ton but also has an escape mechanic that 9/10 will get her out of any situation which in the long run leads to way more heals being applied.
Why don’t they give Mercy her heal back, but in turn reduce the invuln that is in people being Rez’d?
Also can we get a clear indicator of when they can take damage then too? Give it a small burst of Sunbeams or something when they’re able to take damage again. Her Rez can still be used pretty recklessly
Ana’s nano change is nice. Gives her ult more use than “press Q on dps”. Can be used as a lifesaving one too
I don't know about higher ranks, but in plat if an ana nanos someone who is already damaged it's a death sentence because they instantly draw all aggro and they're melted within seconds.
The only times I've seen it viably used was to:
combo with visor, blade, blossom, or barrage
or boost a tank to initiate an engagement
The Nanoboost change sounds like something that should have been since Ana was first introduced

Not gonna flood the page with another big post but highlights are:
>Channeled and Transform ultimates now reload ammo
>Hanzo Leap CD 4 to 5 Seconds
>Widow grapplehook from 8 to 10
>Zarya Decays energy slower, but Graviton Surge is also smaller.
Reinhardt
Barrier Field
Decorative insignia no longer protrudes from the shield’s surface
Only took them 2 fucking years to fix a bug reported since open beta.
really? of all the changes they do to hanzo since this retarded new arrow spam shit, they fuck with his leap of all things?
This is all I can think of every time Mercy gets nerfed.

Hanzo has already received a nerf on the PTR 20 days ago, so they are working on it.
Hanzo
Storm Arrows
Duration reduced from 6 to 5 seconds
Cooldown increased from 8 to 10 seconds
And Mercy will also not be able to damage boost his Dragonstrike anymore.
I think the biggest issue with Hanzo is how forgiving Storm Arrow is its so forgiving you can hold it for a very long time, spam it, or actually aim it.
Compared to similar skills like FTH (which gives up accuracy), or Zenyatta's M2 which has to be charged and used preemptively there really isnt a downside to this move.
its a bad ability as is...nerfing it like that isnt enough, it needs (another) replacement. sooner or later maybe theyll figure out an ability that isnt annoying as shit
My biggest issue with Hanzo is that he's a better McCree.
Very happy with my purchase of this game after playing a bit more. Wouldnt have paid 60 bucks for it though.
Only thing McCree has going for him is the flashbang that has long since been nerfed into oblivion so many times.
I personally feel Mcree has the better ult. It is just that people hold on to it way to long for that sick quintakill youtube-potg. Getting a pick on a unkillable flutterMercy and one of the DPSes to facilitiate a push is more valuable most of the time. Mcree is useful on his own, Hanzo is not. Sure his ult charges quickly now but just like Junkrats tire, how many players uses it in a way that gets maybe 2 kills at the most (unless he has his own personal Zarya)?
Are you sure everything is linked correctly? I got all the breast cancer items on the second day

nice
I can't believe mercy got nerfed.
Hopefully it's not too noticeable.
I dread to think how quickly they'll be able to kill a rien now when his shield drops and I'm still pumping him with heals
semi related
There's only ONE thing I want in OVERWATCH
just one feature; when you select "I need healing" it SHOWS YOU WHERE YOUR TEAM HEALER IS.
Im so sick of people pressing that then running the complete opposite direction from me.
Even me going "group up here" doesn't get the point across..
i find it hilarious she can be out-damaged by a winston now. isnt he like, the lowest DPS in the game?
even if hes not its just funny that a fucking tickle gun can out-damage her now
I think that's good honestly. I dislike when healers are able to just completely nullify someones dps. Excluding things like ultimates of course, since those aren't available at all times.
It's fine. If you're attacking someone 1v2 like Winston vs Mercy and her target, and you can manage to negate all incoming healing while keeping yourself alive for a long duration, you're doing a great job. Not only are you forcing someone important to deal with you, but you're also giving your team a great opportunity to attack. Meanwhile Winston can possibly also be hitting more than one target.
Not that Mercy's nerf will make it possible for him to solely kill her target either.
Or do the TF2 thing where healing is diminished if you're in combat.
Let´s say Rez is removed from the game completely. Disregarding a potential new ultimate for Mercy, what kind of healer niche would you guys like for Mercy to occupy?
She already fills the hold-M1-to-pocket-someone niche AND the flying medic niche. Put the emphasis on that, there's no reason for her "thing" to be the Rez.
Not really sure if there's a lot that'd fit her themeing, but I wouldn't mind seeing her get something akin to TF2's Kritzkrieg or Vaccinator. Either put emphasis on her exclusive ability to damage boost someone outside of Nanoboost or give her current target short weak damage reductions.
vaccinator (in the way of specified damage reduction + shields) would be great for mercy, people always complain about a low skill floor with her. having to do something like the vaccinator would be awesome in raising that floor
When you join a game and all players are fucking invisible. I love that. Shooting at the air and hoping an enemy is in front of me? There's no better gameplay than that!

Torb's turret will be a throwable, self-upgrading one. Along with that, they are doing reworks to his Ult, with the current form being Molten Core being a regular ability. But that's all up in the air still.
