after 20 minutes of waiting, I got into OW, get into a game, played 95% of it, it closed itself...

Well, it's not exactly our fault that, if you really get down to it, Overwatch seasonal events revolve entirely around new cosmetics and pretty much nothing else

Blizzard had a great game. The hype was there when it released and everyone I know was playing it. Overwatch was the hottest thing on the block then they fucking ruined by doing literally everything wrong

I think the biggest problem was the Sombra shitstorm. They handled that """""arg""""" horribly. That already got a lot of people disinterested. Like, I think their release cadence of heroes and maps is... somewhat okay? But they desperately need to add in something... more, I guess. Maybe expand the PvE events thing into its own mode, new gamemodes that aren't limited time.

There are less new cosmetics than usual in this event though, so even that angle is limited. You'd think by the third year of the summer games they'd add more than one game, or vary the size and layout of Lucioball maps. Yet here we are with another "new" map that's exactly the same as the others.

I believe it's known that most event cosmetics are done by contractors? Probably why we don't see any event skins for recently released heroes - as they probably weren't in the "know" about that hero until they came out.

Seems like the Overwatch devs care about the game as much as I do at this point. Really though I really wanted this game to turn around but I guess that isn't happening.

So if some of yall were aware the legendary lucio emote was temporarily availible for purchase for 300 OWL tokens however; This is actually a known issue. That emote is not intended to be purchasable, as it is an Overwatch League Pass exclusive to my knowledge. We’ve already made the devs aware and hopefully will have this resolved soon. Sucks to be anyone who purchased 300 OWL tokens just for the emote, proable gonna get it taken away and have their tokens refunded
