Makes sense, because we didn't get a dev update yet.
It's thursday, so if this is actually the reveal we'll know in roughly 3 hours if the timing is consistent with past character releases.

I feel like this is a Misdirection. It is missing everything that nornally comes with a new hero reveal. Also they don't call the heroes "champions"

I figured that the term "champion" is used to reference the supposed 'reigning champion' of the Junkertown Queen's thunderdome and that as such this isn't the actual 'hero' but rather a component of who the 'true' hero is: There's a possibility that the hamster and their ball is part of an ability set, though this could be disproven given that the ball appears like it could encompass all the abilities necessary to form a hero. After all, given that this hamster ball is supposedly the reigning champion I don't think one could be blamed for assuming that perhaps the rolling ball bot has ties to the Queen and possibly even of her own design while the hamster is.. Well, her pet hamster.
I could be in denial, though.

He can't talk though, he uses a robot voice to communicate.
His abilities sound kinda fun, especially the swinging and rolling parts.
That grappling hook thing sounds super fun
Actually I thought of that god awful penguin piloted mech from Battleborn. I think the rolling mech would actually be a good Omnic design, but fuck it, we have hamster plushes to sell.
