20 orbs in going for Micaiah and I get a neutral Xander. Not quite what I was hoping for but okay!

I summonedn like 5 times and got this: +def Xander (he has no negative stats), a neutral Lute and a +AT -HP Ayra. So far this banner has been better than the legendary one.

You are right. He is -speed. Maybe the stats of the calculator weren't updated for the unit yet. Still, his neutral speed is not that good anyways.

One of the two is CYL2, last time it was listed as a New Heroes Banner as well since they get added to the permanent pool afterwards.

Not only is his base SPD already 2nd worst in the game, it's a fucking superbane.

What do I give my Xander as a refine? Straight ATK refine or DEF to take it up to 37?

Got Micaiah this morning. Don't know if I'm going to go any deeper. I only wanted one from this banner and CYL2 is still up in the air. One of the downsides to saving up for CYL2 is that I've been running low on fodder. I still have about 370 orbs sitting around and it's really hard not to spend it.

Mixed feelings about the new banner. On one hand: more goddamn dancers. But on the other hand, they're buffing daggers again, making full use of daggers as a support class, and also adding colored daggers because, well, because. AND it's not the same 3 goddamn dancer characters again! also I've been away without wifi for a week so I had my sister babysit my account for me in the meantime she managed to get a 5* soleil on a free pull she's a good person

Got the promo, went to pull, got a Brave Roy on the first pull. Shame he's -ATK,+DEF. Bigger shame that other than Galeforce, he doesn't have anything really worth foddering him off for.

I suppose you could look at the Superboons and superbanes, also surprisingly Brave Roy has a superboon in DEF... so perhaps you should hold onto him until you get another one with more favorable IVs.

My only issue with these units (and daggers as a whole) is that their supportiveness is largely offset by the current “one-shot” meta. The new daggers of color dancers are great for their utility and effectiveness against certain unit types, but still suffer from the problem all dagger units do: the existence of Distant Counter and the massive drawbacks of trying to counter it. In PVE content, they’re pretty good, but in PVP, they’re almost unusable at the higher levels due to low scoring/getting obliterated by DC units. Honestly, Distant Counter (as a dedicated A skill) was a mistake—it would have been so much better as just a weapon exclusive ability, as you can easily counter the handful of units that possess them, but as it is now, it’s just endless armor with DC, so ‘fuck magic and fuck ranged, i got 40/40 mixed def and Vengeful Fighter’.

No green bonus units. All physical. First map throws a Shiro at me. IS, fuck off.

I just realized I put the Flashing Blade seal on my Joshua, who has Moonbow. Excuse me, I feel really fucking stupid right now.

I really like how this new tempest is all the final stages of previous tempests And somewhat glad that we're almost to +10 masked lucina availability, a free unit that's high-arena viable. Even if they don't have access to IVs that's still pretty great.

Went to pull for Micaiah again. Got a pool of only colourless. My neutral Xander is now a +def/-res +1 Xander.

I’m saving up for the (hopefully) imminent CYL2 banner coming soon. A lot of signs are pointing to it, such as “Brave Heroes” being one of the featured tracks on Tap Battle, which in itself is a runback of past Seasonal units, and Tempest Trial+ featuring runbacks of the previous final stages. It’s like they’re wrapping up an season here. My best guess is that it’s either the next “New Heroes Summoning Event”, or the one after.

I hav been trying to get Ryoma now that I have Xander but he still refuses to show up.

I've come to a point where I've started stockpiling feathers because the characters I want most at +10 I no longer have copies for. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Really hope this next banner is either CYL2 or a Tellius banner. If it's a Tellius banner then I'm willing to part with a few more orbs.

Man, the Micaiah/Sothe BHB was really, really easy. The only change I had to make was throw Flashing Blade on Kagero and I was done.

When was the last time you scouted units, the beginning of the game? Because that's dedication

I've dropped some small portions of orbs during the summer banners. I dropped a HUGE chunk of orbs during the L Hector banner, but I think I still had somewhere around 50-100 orbs by the time I was done. I can't remember the last time I hit rock bottom on orbs, I probably spend orbs on like.. one banner a month, and on average I spend about less than 100 orbs, so the orb count has been accumulating over the coarse of the last half-year.
