Christ, and she’s going to be a massive ass pain to fight in Arena as a +10. Only unit in my Arena core that can fight her is Catria, since I’m pretty sure Fae isn’t fast enough to double and Bold Fighter WILL kill her thanks to that stupid dragon slayer effect on her prf. god what a horrible addition
Got L!Tiki at +Spd -Res, not too bad! Probably won't use her though, I don't care much for Tiki and her Oliver fucking Twist-ass accent is pissing me off to no end. Back to sniping for L!Hector merges.
Divine Dragon Tiki is now FELL Divine Dragon Tiki?
Got a -hp/+res Tiki and boy howdy, is she gross.
Well shit I had saved over 30 orbs, wasted them all on this banner to not get a single 5 stars unit
The good thing about Robin being on every legendary banner is how easy it is to +10 her with fairly minimal effort https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/214999/77ed9782-e703-4e29-92c3-e5adf7ba24e4/image.png and yeesh, if the newest released unit is always going to be meta-defining from here on out we might as well bail now
Legendary Banner February: Legendary Reinhardt Weapon: Direr Thunder: Attacks 3 times in a row. Special: Galeforce+: now available for all units Assist: Refreshing Reposition: reposition + dance A Skill: Attacks target lower of Res or Def. B Skill: Foes cannot counterattack if unit initiates combat at <75% health C Skill: Tactic Tactic: Applies +6 to every stat to units whose movement type on team <=2 Other units on banner: Legendary Chrom, Legendary Lyn 2, Legendary Robin (F)
That's called All Tactic.
Jegus, an adaptive damage fodderable skill slot would be a nightmare.
Micaiah's high res accompanied with Thani is a bittersweet feeling. Theoretically I could use her to tank and bust other mages. But I'll never do that since the armor meta is going to force me to use her against armor units. In my eyes there'd be no difference if she had 0 Resistance because I'd rather use her against armors. Eesh.
Moonbow+ is actually Black Luna for characters besides the Black Knight Zelgius (and would be like Radiant Aether btw), Rally Everything is Rally All, Close Counter 2 would be Face-to-face Riposte, while Every Attack Wave is simply Attack Wave.
Just you wait, they'll actually make that seal that makes characters invincible in story mode available as a skill someday
At the same time they introduce a B skill that gives 5 HP and invincibility penetration, of course.
Jegus, only one easy-access unit for the weapon refine this time.
I$ is so generous
Well, having one is always better than not. Especially when she's 180 bst.
I managed to get a 5* Lilina from the free roll 2 days ago. So I decided it was about time to get in on the Lilinuke bandwagon. She was +res/-spd though, and while that's good, I had a 4* Lilina I was saving for a rainy day that was +atk/-def. Promoted that Lilina, as well as 3 more I had turned into books, merged her up, slapped on the heavy blade seal and glimmer, then leveled her up. holy shit this is fun ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Dragalia: I'm kind of concerned about the premium currency costs. I'm not currently planning on buying any for any game right now, but I worry whether the game will be able to sustain itself. I would think you need a good balance of rates that are rare but not too rare, and premium currency that costs enough but not too much. Let me explain. In FEH, rates for 5*'s start at 6%, with 3% for focus. Plus, that number rises with failed attempts. You can get enough for a 5-roll of heroes (units) for about $13, and 2 5-rolls plus a little more for $27. $20 can get you up to 2 5-rolls if you have a few orbs already. $75 gets you enough for 7 5-rolls. (This can be less efficient if you don't full summon every time, but that's not the point.) I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but I'm just putting the numbers up for comparison's sake. In FGO, rates for 5*'s are at 5%, but you summon 2 things in that game: servants (units) and craft essence (equipment). Servant 5* rate is 1%, and doesn't rise with failed attempts. That is further split to about .6% to .7% for focus units. You can get enough for a 10-roll and a bit more for $24. (a 10 roll and 3 single rolls, to be exact) $80 gets you enough for 5 10-rolls and 5 single rolls, or half a 10 roll. Since rolls are split in half between servants and CEs, this is about $24 for 5 units, on average. In DL, rates for 5*'s are at 4%, but you summon 3 - yes, THREE - different things in that game. Adventurers (units), dragons (sorta like units), and wyrmprints (equipment). That rate is ALSO split between focus and non-focus. The units and dragons each have 1%, split to .5% for focus and non-focus, and WPs have another 1%. Sure, those rates rise with failed attempts, but that rate gain is reset for getting ANY 5*, so there's a 50% chance it'll be wasted on a WP, and a further 25% chance it'll be wasted on a type of unit you don't want. That's a worse rate than FGO for focus units. You can get enough for a 10-roll for $32. $80 gets you enough for 28 single rolls - not even 3 full 10-rolls. You do have higher rates for low rarity units (not even counting dragons) than low rarity WPs, so on average 40% of your rolls will be units. (About 60% if you count dragons). 5 units will be roughly $32 - really 4 or 6 units depending on your definition. Now, the game is somewhat generous with its premium currency - not as much as FEH, but way more than FGO. So you don't NEED to buy currency anyway. Furthermore, you don't need multiple of a single unit to make it reach its full potential, like in FEH or FGO. You don't need to summon the same unit 5 or 10 times to get it to be competitive, just once. Since any multiple of a unit gets turned into a type of currency. (Sure, this currency is used to promote units and make them stronger, but only weaker units, as far as I'm aware. It's unnecessary for 5* units.) You do need multiple of dragons to get them their full potential, yeah, but not the main units. Personally, I've found myself spending money on FEH, but not FGO. And that's precisely because I know that my money will most likely get me something in FEH. For FGO, your money doesn't go nearly as far. And for DL, your money gets you even less. For casual players, I would think that they would realize this too. It costs too much to get anything you want, and the game gets you enough for decent units anyway, so you may as well just not spend your money. For whales, sure, they're spending more per unit than in other games, but once they get the units they want, there's no reason for them to keep spending money. You have people spending a lot in FEH to get certain units up to 5* +10: increasing their spending by tenfold on average. Even more if they don't get any of the right IVs they want in those 10 units. FGO has lower rates than FEH, but also you need only 5 to get them fully maxed. And that doesn't even affect stats, just the damage of their special abilities, so it's not as necessary as if you want to be arena viable in FEH. Hell, FGO doesn't even have an arena, so you don't have to worry about things being meta as much. In DL, you don't even need to get multiple of a unit. Dragons, sure, but most of the time, you're not even using those. I guess people could whale for those, mostly. And they are the rarest thing in the gacha, now that I think about it. Still, there's a bit less pressure for meta units than in FEH. So for both casuals and whales, I don't think they're going to spend as much money. The ones who do will spend more per unit, but the lower rates don't make up for the fact that you don't need multiple of a unit. on the other hand people spend hundreds on fifa so what do I know
Hardin also has Bold Fighter at 4-stars. I do like the small details of which skills are complete at what rarity even for 5-star exclusives, it's nice to know they keep possibilities for the future as open as possible.
Looks like the Dragalia Lost community is coming along nicely- https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/220592/b98fa980-dfeb-4947-b9f3-b30862790d19/A62C7018-2570-4957-B8A0-42803398D34E.png Haha imagine
FEH: Remember last year when people were freaking out about "oh my god there's FIVE banners at once, this is too many"? And now there's eight at once and it's like "when's the next one". That's how it is for me, at least. I WANT MY HALLOWEEN UNITS
Spent a final 20 orbs on the legendary banner and managed to snag a L!Tiki, Bride Tharja, and another Grima. I'll take it as payback for not getting L!Marth last banner.
Dropped my last 5 orbs on the legendary banner last night and pulled a Karla. Merge her into my existing Karla or fodder off Even SPD Wave to someone?
Everyone got super lucky on the legendary banner and here I am only with fodder material, not a single special unit
Fodder? Try endless Raighs and Merrics. Literally worthless.
I'd love some more Merrics I just didn't really bother with the Legendary banner Meanwhile i use the two red orbs on my free summon on the Ishardt banner and get another Swordhardt to add onto my merges 8% is a lie
I have this sneaking suspicion that I'm going to be indifferent to the special banner units coming up. I wound up diving back into the Legendary Banner before it ended, got a Bunny Sharena and L! Hector. I finally have some distant counter fodder lying around but I'm probably going to hang onto it until 3.0 drops, whenever THAT is.
I’m honestly rapidly losing interest in FEH since Dragalia‘s launch. There’s just nothing to do now, and each release of new content just echoes the old, but more overpowered and harder to clear, with rehashes event thrown in the middle. Unless we get a big 3.0 addition like beast units or something, I might actually just hang up my robes.
ye, the last game mode to turn my head was GC. It's been nothing interesting since then. I've been making merge projects out of older easy-access units and I frequently question if it's worth it. Somewhere down the line we're going to have Gen 3 units who will have (I'm predicting) 167 BST average for Melee infantry/cavalier/flier, along with the other unit types to be bumped up in a similar fashion. SOME of these gen 3 units will get demoted to 4 star, so now we have 167 bst units(Again, in example) against the average, what? 156, 157, 158 basic melee unit bst Of launch units? Hardly worth it at that point. I just wish Dragalia Lost was out in Canada.
I would love to get some merge projects, but I either lack the feathers, lack the orbs, don't have a good banner I can potentially get good 5 stars from or the units I like are seasonal I'd love to make a project out of M!Robin but he desperately needs to catch up with Odin and Merric to give me a good idea other than the obvious
Also considering how banners are a waste of orbs unless you invest a lot...I have been getting special units lately but they require now evenmore than it did at the start
