Giving Nephenee a weapon with a refine? That's...weird. When I think of units that can do with a fresh new weapon, she isn't even my 10th pick. Curious what Titania's will be, though.

I pulled 2 Lectors in quick succession yesterday, one Neutral and one +SPD -HP. I'm sacking the +SPD one because Neutral seems better than that, but I'm not sure what to do with him. OG Hector has been the backbone of my main team ever since the first Hero Fest, and Lector seems to be regular Hector but better at this point, so I'll be swapping them out. Which means I can +1 this bad boy, or use him for his delicious Distant Counter. I still have a +10 Soleil I want to give more build options, but I'm not sure if Distant Counter is really the best option. Anyone have any ideas?

I wouldn't delete that Henry since those are pretty much ideal Ivs.

Pulled a second legendary Hector just now, +DEF/-SPD. Time to merge my other one into him and throw Ignis on him because that is fucking GROSS.

Same, that one's my favourite so far, followed by the Hawkeye/Bruno one. I didn't realize until now that I was sitting on a +Spd -HP Legault, I decided to look it up and holy heck, Legault's speed potential is bonkers.

Still unsure what to do for my Leg Hector's C skill in my armor emblem Currently he still has Ostia's pulse and I use him for voting gauntlet He's also got armored boots so he is I guess more of the roamer type in this case

Gunna try to utilize my Lector for a theme team. Have a red and colourless nailed down, I'm being really picky with blue though. Don't want to use antagonists or holiday skins so that leaves vanilla Ninian or Florina. hhhhhh Wish Kent or Sain were out, at least one of them is probably going to be lance cavalier.

I mean do whatever you feel is best. I personally wouldn't because he's a seasonal unit, he has ideal IV's, armor march can be gotten from other units, you already have one unit with armor march, and because he's a great unit. I would personally replace it with ward armor which works well in armor teams and is cheap inheritance.

Which refinement do I go for on a -ATK/+DEF Christmas Tharja, DEF or RES?

Camilla seems pretty much confirmed. She has the same bracelet and drink as in the Fates beach DLC. Might excuse it if we get Beach Lobster. Best dagger unit IMO, but you can't go wrong with Attack Tactics either.

I already have a +9 Kagero, a +10 Felicia, flying Kagero and NY Takumi though.

God, I am so sick of every unit in Arena having Distant Counter. Arena Assault is a hundred times harder because “sorry, can’t bring a squishy mage cause DC Emphraim one shots you”, except this is every match.

What is one supposed to do? Use Distant Counter oneself for the sole purpose of breaking through these people who apparently dumped their entire bank accounts for Orbs?

Go through a bunch of maps, face different enemies each time (unlike Squad Assault), and use a different team each time, to promote building and using a variety of teams. Except, like you said, it stops being "use your teams!" and starts being "hope you have enough armor effective / cavalry effective / dragon effective units, lol" Used your anti-calvary units too early? lol fuck you here's another brave lyn, reinhardt, dc sword reinhardt, & azura Same for anti-armor. Want to face lower difficulty teams so you can actually use your different teams and have fun? Lowest tier rewards for some of the rarest and most important materials in the game, second only to orbs. Sure, the items help, but they're a bandaid solution. Something better would be an alternative Tempest Trials, like "Tempest Trials -" or something, where you have to use a different team each map. Not as hard as Arena Assault, sure, but I'd take easy fun over hard 'meta or bust' any day.

I forgot how cancerous it must be dealing with mid-tier Arena and all the horses... They score too low for my bracket (730+), so I end up with Armors, Dragons and Infantry, all with DC, of course. And you're right, items only help patch up all the broken nonsense, and it's no help you're limited to 3 different ones. Plus, some of the items are pure garbage, like the one that deals 20 damage to all units. Wow! Thanks for the free Desperation/Wrath/Sealed Falchion/Vantage/Escape Route/Wings of Mercy triggers! Best one are the items that limit movement, the random dance, special blade, and maybe boots. The rest aren't really worth a slot. Only saving grace of AA is that it costs nothing to play. Other than that, it's a massive mandatory asspain.
