The DLC that never got released outside Japan, I might add! For fuck's sake nobody who didn't have the Japanese version wouldn't get this nor Nohr's Scary Scramble.
Decided to do the right thing and make the first 5* I ever pulled into my first 5* +10. The Wall is here.

Finally got a Hardin as I tried to get my last few Effie merges, too. -Spd +Res is pretty much as good as it's gonna get on this lad.

Pulled a Brave Ike on my free pull on today's daily banner. It just sucks that he's +HP/-ATK.
So, candidates for Steady Breath?
Take your pick.

I'd go Nowi and slap on Aether. Adult Tiki works too.
ravioli ravioli don't slap the dragon loli
I'm sure some will disagree but Grand Conquest has become my favourite game mode with the latest addition. And I owe that all to the fact that it has its own stamina system. I've gotten so used to playing Tempest Trial as a fire-and-forget game mode because I can just auto-battle to get to the top, I have tons of stamina potions so there's no loss to doing so.
I actually have reason to try a higher difficulty because its limited stamina and ranking system.
I just hope that they don't slap on change after change to the point where it completely loses its meaning, like VG.
My favorite part of Grand Conquest is how the highest difficulty gives you drastically more points, and it becomes a proper challenge because enemies can attack as they warp. Actually been having fun using my friends' and my own strongest units to try and beat it.
Fug I wish Elincia was blue to counter all the Tiki's or at least colorless. Still pretty good art and another dragon killer is awesome to have so I'll be rolling a little.
Now coloured daggers it seems. They should add a colourless physical melee. Maybe one that fights with... oh I don't know. Fangs? Claws? Beaks?
I digress, I might fork over a portion of my orbs to get one of them. I don't want any of them specifically, I just haven't had a new dancer in a while.
... I wasn't expecting colored daggers and everyone to be dancers.
Call it 'Festival in Hoshido' and only have one character from Hoshido. jfc is.
Although Micaiah in a yukata is definitely something I can get behind.
So to recap;
-4 new dancers available
-Hardy Bearing 3 now available as a weapon effect on 3 inheritable daggers and one PRF tome
-Each dagger has its own effectiveness ability; Armors, Cavalry, and Dragons
-This marks the first inheritable weapon that is effective against Dragons
-2 new dance skill combinations available (Atk/Res, Spd/Def)
-Odd Def. Wave added, Spur Spd/Res added
-Returning skills include Atk/Spd Push, Close Counter, Quick Riposte, Chill Def, Atk/Res Bond
All in all a pretty solid banner with a trove of useful stuff.
Goodbye to all my saved orbs.
Also, got another Tharja. I have a +at -hp one and just got a +sp -def one. Should I keep both and build them or fuse them?
+spd/-def is the golden IV for tharja, too, so building that one up would be a great choice for a red mage. Dunno if you can find another way to build a tharja that doesn't rely on bladetome desperation or isn't insanely high investment cost.
Hmm, gonna build the +speed one then. Gonna keep the other one in case it turns out useful.
Great, more dancers. And now they’re colored daggers.
Nice bait banner, but not really worth pulling past the free orb if you’ve already got enough dancers.
Really? They have some pretty fantastic skills here and there. I'm sure a lot of people would love to have Close Counter.
What about the Dance skills? I have Lene (-SPD +DEF) with Firestorm Dance and Earth Dance, and that'll do if I keep my troops together. She's not gonna make good use of WoM, woomy
I mean, that’s what makes it bait—Useful skills and popular characters. The characters themselves, in all confidence, will have terrible stats, since they are a ranged-dancer hybrid. These poor BSTs make them completely unsuitable for ranking purposes in Arena, and pretty much just designated dancers elsewhere, as they mostly likely won’t even put a dent in souped-up AA units. Daggers of color is a neat gimmick, but as L!Lyn and Lucina has shown us, are not meta-defining at all. Also, the dancing skills are, frankly, much less useful than WoM or Escape Route.
tl;dr I’m a jaded, F2P minmaxer who just wants beast units in the game.
34-35 ATK on a dancer.
bruh
Xander dancing for his momma Katerina… and his half-siblings that he didn't get to know properly…
17 Spd on a dancer

Time to brush off my Arvis.
I'm glad Tobin's back, but him getting Armorsmasher is… a bit of a downer.
literally can't even double arden
Ooh, time for horse emblem Frederick edition!
Is there an updated guide on "safe to feather" units somewhere? I only seem to find sparse stuff from a year ago and no way I'm spending orbs on barrack expanding
Don't be cheap its totally worth expanding. You never know when a unit will get buffed.
for 10 orbs you can get your barracks an extra 50 slots. it's not a bad trade for two less pulls.
I'd recommend keeping all units that aren't Raigh and Owain. Not that it's expensive to upgrade those barracks, either way.
