So we had to wait years to see a Bloat with nipple rings, but within months of its initial inclusion, the sole robotic ZED that lacks any and all need for mammaries suddenly gets its own nipple lights?

The map looks cool and big but god damn, i'm ready to get turned down to like a arena size
Where's the wide open maps, fuck this closed in shit, I want long ass sight lines.
Especially on areas that make sense, like a fucking island, a freaking carnival damnit
I would like wide open maps if the spawns for zeds didn't spawn them 4 feet around a corner just to fuck me.
Feels like Bedlam, that map was truly challenging if you didn't hold the "L" corridor near the player spawn and your team wasn't coordinated.
But yea, it is time for a Farm or a Mountain Pass level, the engine allows it ( has anyone made a custom map being this big? ).
People have ported over various versions of Farm (Here, here, here, here) and Mountain Pass (Here) without issue so I wouldn't see the problem with a custom map of the same size. And Helms Deep has been remade for KF2 (Here) which has to be at least as big as Farm.
There's probably others nearing that size but I dislike how bloaty KF2 maps have become in terms of disk space so I don't bother with enough of them to know. The real reason you'll likely not see too many huge custom maps is due to the time it takes to make one; the standards for map quality is much higher on a modern engine than KF1. That said, the first Farm I linked above looks pretty good even with the design intended for the old engine (it's mostly lacking the prop clutter KF2 maps have).
As for official maps, it's clear that the design choice for KF2 maps is to discourage holding up in one spot (plus the spawning mechanics that punish you for doing it) and to force encounters with tightly clustered areas, so I've given up hope that I'll get an official map that's as good as Farm.

Does anybody know anything about the trader getting a rework/voice change? I swear I read like a year ago they were planning on adding actual shops in the maps, like in kf1. Like I remember reading that the pods were placeholders for the beta but that can't be true. I must be remembering wrong.
Honestly if they did change it to actual shops, they'd have to re-do every map, which sounds like a bad idea in every regard, especially for something that doesn't change anything about the game, it adds some personalisation to the trader? Like I don't give a shit, I prefer the ease of adding pods to the map, less fucking around, takes up less space, doesn't take anything away from the game.
Maybe just shit them up a little bit so they don't look so clean all the time.
Mountain Pass has problems with drawing stuff at long distances.

Ah good, a mod to get some people to shut up, as though Killing Floor 2 has to be the 1st but with visual changes and that's it.
Well KF2 isn't perfect either, especially seen with the past few major updates. Nothing wrong with a change of pace either.

Kinda find it ridiculous how people just want a flat copy paste of KF1 on an updated engine as quite a few stuff that made KF1 'KF1' was because of the outdated engine. Some even have that gross as hell thought of doing away the mobility and ability tweak based difficulty we have right now in favor of the old 'increase hp for all xd' just because its more methodical or tactical or whatever dumb reason they used.
Nostalgia goggles can really make people throw away their common senses and act like total neanderthals sometimes.

Those mods that replace the music with the tracks from KF1 always had heaps of issues that bugged me, they were really out of date, missed a quite a few tracks it felt like and a bunch of other stuff.
I spent a couple of hours making my own version fixing all my issues I had plus a few new songs by zYnthetic. I thought I may as well put it up for download, and also post it here in case people wanted something similar.

Hopefully is just the zeds or just the map and not the entire fucking event that is going on the beta. It's just weird having the whole event 1 month before the whole thing
What do you expect, of course it'll be the whole event, just without the cosmetic drops like always. Now THOSE are the real event. The rest is just content.

I honestly don't get why shotgun pellets are slow as shit projectiles, makes hitting anything moving laterally at 50+ ping feel like lining up a 2km tank shell shot with windage and gravity involved.
Feels really bad when the projectiles make you waste entire shells on crawlers or an alpha clot that decides to duck
It worked way better in KF1 when all the zeds lined up nicely and didn't have swaying dynamic animations
They're probably only projectiles because a Level 25 Support instantly chunking 10 trash zeds in a cone would look goofy
Single bullet weapons can get away with it because it's just a straight line and usually fired by very powerful weapons like the .500 Magnum or Railgun
Seeing how shotguns slice through most things (somehow) that's fair enough.
