It's like the Claymore where if 1 person has it unlocked, it's shared to everyone else in the match. Someone probably has it already and shared it for that match so everyone could buy/use it.
It's come to my attention that the MKb needs a bayonet. I feel inadequate whenever I see Hans floating around with not one, but two.

So I can understand making the Road Redeemer limited (in a fashion) due to it being a promotional item, but why limit the MKb42? It makes no sense.
to incentivize weapon unlocks. shame that the 2500 zeds on that map just makes it feel like a chore. oh yeah they already added 9 more achievements by the way.
Does the new medic weapon's firing sound seem off to anyone else? It's crazy quiet and unsatisfying, but im willing to believe it's an oversight because the other noises the weapon makes are nice and loud.
Playing as Medic, using the new gun, got to Wave 7 of 10, bored... I don't know what it is but I'm just not finding this game to be that fun anymore, off day possibly I don't know.
I was pretty damn bored with the base game as well, then my friend showed me the Zedternal mod, and god damn it resparked my love with this game and I've been having a total blast with it

Reinstalled KF2 because I always loved their seasonal events, I got shot by a Zed with rocket launchers and gatling guns, what the fuck happened?
The new medic rifle is disappointing in a weird way. Unlike every other medic weapon it has a finite amount of heals that are bought/picked up as ammo. Having greater amounts and range of AoE healing is nice, but it's definitely not a gun you should take without having another medic primary as backup.
I honestly find it quite enjoyable. With the amount of gas grenades you shoot off during secure area objectives, i'm starting to feel like Hans.
E.D.A.Rs happened E.D.A.R 3 new non traditional zed types in the form of D.A.R robot models hacked by Horizne. They apparently run on blood since they bleed when you gib them. Were quite controversial among the playerbase when they were first added due to them being robots, having guns and the main way to kill them is bodyshots, not headshots. They can still move and attack just fine even after their head have been shot off. They do still bleed out eventually but it takes a while.
How bizarre. I noticed I was killing a 'Rioter' which seemed to have an armoured Chest, why make a Robot when you could just do an Armoured Zed with a gun-arm? Feels weird killing not-mutants
Also just as a tip Rioters die hella fast if you shoot their knees, and E.D.A.Rs weaknesses are shotguns, explosives and fire, especially the microwave gun which does over 3x damage to them.
I figured out shooting the Rioters knees, I main Support Specialist so Shotguns are my best friend. Is the King Fleshpound a bit of a cheap boss? It just seemed to be a Fleshpound with a shield, I didn't notice any new moves or anything. Did that other boss they were talking about in the Beta get cancelled? The female-robot spawner thing?
I mean king fleshpound is just fleshpound but also using moves that were taken away from regular fleshpound, like the spin attack, and also a huge laser that shreds your armor and rips your health apart. And abomination is a big bloat, as it's obvious for what it does. And matriarch is still "coming, maybe, some day in 2019 possibly."

Ah right, I wasn't aware the regular FP had lost its spin. I never saw a chest laser either, I retract my statement.
psa: You can crouch to avoid the laser. If you have the weight, bring a katana, it basically hard counters king FP. You can constantly de-rage him on demand, and only take like 12 damage. Also, focus the QPs first. They're the real boss, not king FP As for Edars, shoot them in the chest. It will effectively one shot them, as well as release an EMP blast on any nearby zeds
Damn do I miss that game mod. Actually having a full server full of marines to shoot facehuggers off eachother's faces was great. I lived by the smart gun, even though it doesn't have outright aimbot.
I only got 2 or 3 real matches in with other players, but it really was some good fun.

this is the kind of stuff I despise about cosmetics kf2 killed the atmosphere of the previous games
kf1 was so atmospheric. when those gingerbread men attack you and your guy goes "HELP ME OR I'LL BE PUSHING UP THE BLOODY DAISIES" I felt so immersed and serious
