To be fair, if there's an even slightly similar mecha design in any media these days, an alternate palette based on NGE mechas will most likely be released. Both League and Heroes of the Storm have EVA 01 alt palettes for dozens of mecha skins.
Does upgrading the firebutt's weapons also increase their burn damage, or is it just a flat-damage boost to the bullet/projectile landing?
I was lookong at the spreadsheet and it looks like flat damage on the actual shots.

Well, the Neon USBs keep coming and they don't stop coming.
So we are getting 4 weapons: Tommy Gun, Fireaxe, M32 and BattleAxe? Or BattleAxe is a reskin of Fireaxe, something like a seasonal event reward?
Don't panic, it is possibly not a survivalist weapon.

In steadDB item entry has tw_perk_id property of 8 (which meant to be SWAT) and tw_alt_perk_id of 1 (Commando). So it may not be a Surv exclusive weapon, or may be it will. Don't quote me, just an assumption.
Theory from a reddit comment: It's a survivalist prestige because survivalist is out of weapons to prestige skin with (except 9mm). Otherwise it's just a SWAT/Commando weapon
It possibly is prestige skin for survivalist, as "tw_unique_to_own" tag is set to "true", just like with all items that you get from completing weekly, map objectives.
...I know. It's a prestige skin. That's why people were freaking out about it. It's clearly a prestige skin, but has the survivalist perk icon instead of SWAT or Commando.
Can survivalist just fuck off instead.
Why are they so bad at making cosmetics
TW should take a lesson from TF2/OW and make them actually relate to the characters.
The less they focus on Survivalist the better, it's a constant reminder that they rushed the game out the door and went 'See? We promised that many perks!"
Some of them are ok. Like the clot backpack is okay i guess, and i like how goofy the tree hats look. Their character design is definitely a lot better though, Badass Santa looks awesome.
I thought it was cut because it was too hard to differentiate it from Beserker in a meaningful way (which to be fair makes sense since they're doing the two different playstyle systems with skills now)
Urban Ninja was cut because his skills/passives were put into Zerk after they realized EA bezerker was bad, and needed a complete overhaul
That was clearly the way they were planning to handle this game earlier in development, but decided against it at some point to allow them to monetise the game more easily.

Don't ask me why but I just opened the better part of 100 Vault boxes, do some of the characters just... not have items in there? Like, regardless of whether or not they're from the original roster?
