• Killing Floor V11 - Upgrade to make your 9mm stronger than a 12G shotgun

I remembered that I bought KF2. Any differences between it and kf1?
The FAL, and upgrades kinda made weapon swapping unnecessary for HVT killing, on top of impact rounds allowing you stumble scrakes with the HMTech 401 and AK12 before they can reach you
Many, many differences. The core loop is the same - survive against waves of genetically engineered monsters, but everything around it has changed - the pace is faster, you can sprint, leveling has selectable skills for you to unlock (though most are irrelevant), zeds are a lot less predictable than in the first game, holding out in a single spot isn't a great solution anymore as they'd much rather have you move around constantly Try it out
You can't call your teammates gormless tossers anymore.
So if you pick HCM and Eat Lead, does that extend the 75 round Box of the Stoner to 187 rounds?
Is this because the director was christian or something?
It's okay, if you play as Classic Briar you can still call them wankers and tosspots.
Dev said something about christian value and whatnot and in turn we can't swear in british anymore
Never knew I was jamming to Jesus while playing. That's pretty hardcore.
Demon Hunter are apparently a Christian Metal Band and the game has a fair few of their songs, whether they're actually Christian is another thing, but still, good songs.
As mentioned, the pace is completrly different. There are dozens of new weapons, Beserker as a perk was made incredibly more deep and fun to play, Gunslinger, what many consider to be another one of the most fun perks, was introduced, new zed variatons, 3 completely new bosses with a fourth new boss coming very soon, a new cosmetic system, it's a completely different game now. The bedt part is though, there is workshop integration, and if you miss old kf1, almost every kf1 map has been made and resubmitted, and there are really cool maps and even new gamemodes (like the phenomenal Zedternal) floating around.
Kf1 had some good maps but damn they felt incomplete at times. I think the farm one is the worse. Many times I'd be lost in a corn field and wonder if I left the map boundaries due to how shitty the ground brushwork was.
Well I mean 'Cross To Bear' has some lyrics that relate to religion, as you'd probably expect given the title of the song; my point wasn't how Christian bands have to always sing about Jesus and that, to be Christian bands, it's moreso the relevance of adding Christian in front of Metal Band or Rock Band or anything, and whether or not it has absolutely any bearing on what they make, does it really matter if they are or aren't? Like, for example, if they weren't a Christian Band, would they have made 'Cross To Bear'? (Just one example of a song by the way) Would Demon Hunter even exist?
It does'nt really matter, no. On the other hand, yes, it's entirely likely their songs wouldn't exist if they weren't christian and overly religious, just like how, say, Nirvana's hits wouldn't exist if Kurt Cobain wasn't so mentally unwell.
The level of Christian themes though varies from album to album, like 'True Defiance' just dials it up yet the next album, 'Extremist' dials it back down, which is quite amusing. (Although 'Death' being the opening track seems like a juxtaposition)
Found this on Reddit.
Do you guys think we will ever get Harold Lott in KF2?
It depends on who voiced him. Who did voice him?

https://steamcommunity.com/games/232090/announcements/detail/1733225847765405087 Hello everyone! The Lab Coats keep telling us that the mercs need more firepower. There was a bunch more they kept babbling on about, but we tuned that out once we saw these new specimens for the Firebugs out there. Now they haven’t exactly been “field tested”, or tested at all really (unless you count cute furry, irradiated animals in the backwoods of Cornwall). But that’s where you come in! Have you ever wanted to microwave something clear across the room, or within eyesight really? Look no further than the new Helios Rifle (patent pending)! This baby fires balls of plasma in full auto or three round burst that we can (mostly) guarantee will cook your enemies from inside out and keep going to cook their friends too!  https://media.tripwirecdn.com/020119/HeliosRifle.jpg Did we mention we needed help testing that guarantee before wider rollout, just make sure we have an updated copy of your HZ-507 testing forms, notarized in triplicate, on file before handling, or being anywhere near this weapon.  But wait, there’s more!  Was the sound of rounds built on the “science” of dark magic known as “microwaves” not enough for you? Did you want to know what would happen if somebody took that tech and took it to 11? Well lucky you, so did the lab coats back in R&D! https://media.tripwirecdn.com/020119/Killerwatt.jpg She fires energy bolts down range, and any entrepreneuring user can choose to “overcharge” the Killerwatt and send a beam of, what did they call it? Tesla destruction down range, destroying all in its path, making you, the new king of the battlefield! Something something harmful side effects*. Please don’t visit a doctor, as you may kill them via exposure to your newly irradiated body - but who needs them anyway when your in the line of work that you are in?  https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/431609963862032386/540967162647412736/unknown.png https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/431609963862032386/540969175842160642/unknown.png https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/2015/803ebfa6-28c0-43e3-9bde-f440f07bef1b/image.png
Of course one of the new guns is for Survivalist, despite how underused and garbage that perk is.
Why do they fucking acknowledge the Survivalist? Just... move on, you guys made a massive mistake and didn't actually make a final perk, just admit that.
It's entirely possible that they're reworking the Survivalist come this update. Hell, it's even more likely because this update seems to not be one of the annual event updates like cyber/steampunk.
I'd still say that last spring update was one of the better ones with endless mode and all that. Though the fleshpound waves need to return in the future, 'cause I'm tired of endless waves of scrakes, and the husk cannon is once again useless.
I want more lead spitters
Since we're on the topic, I posted this giant weapon idea picture to the KF2 subreddit a while ago, and unlike my various ideas or concepts to improve the skill system, it was actually pretty well-received, so why not post it here - https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/249352/035f74be-9885-45df-b8f3-b28bf880f23b/image.png I love KF1 but I REALLY wanna see every single unique weapon back just so I never have an excuse to play it again Also throwing knives was probably the most favored idea, the funny thing is KF Incursion actually has throwing knives as a featured weapon, so here's hoping it happens
The High-Damage Pistol sounds like the .500 Magnum to be honest, seems superfluous, although I'm guessing since it's marked as a Crossperk with Support, it's gonna be like a Taurus Judge or S&W Governor. If the Bile Launcher v2 spews angering poison, I assume that means it sends enemies into a frenzied state and causes them to attack each other, but Zeds like the Scrake and Fleshpound are immune to being Frenzied by this to prevent using one of them to clear out crowds, as fun as that might be I think it'd be a little OP. The Bow & Arrow sounds like a decent idea for Sharpshooter, capable of stunning with Headshots like the Crossbow, although it can't be higher tier than a Crossbow unless it fires like, Explosive Arrows or something, it just wouldn't make sense otherwise, I don't think having it as a Crossperk with Berserker makes any sense either, it's a precision ranged weapon, the Berserker is the opposite of that. A Sniper Rifle with a Syringe attachment, alt-fire launches a Syringe, really? It just sounds like an M99 with the ability to fire Syringes, extremely unimaginative, why not an AoE Syringe that attaches to other players and Zeds and dispenses healing gas like the Grenade Launcher and Level 25 ability does, give it some aim assist so the dart favours players over Zeds. Of the Crossperks in this picture, how is the Riot Shield not a Crossperk with Berserker when it's very clearly a Bone Crusher? But maybe instead of a blunt Melee weapon it's a Machine Pistol like a G18 or an MP5K or something.
yeah, it was actually explicitly a Judge pistol in my subreddit post, but what amounted to a guy way too invested in realism and guns bitched me out over it (since in real life they're just used to start horse-races I guess). The idea is a pistol that can't be dual-wielded, but has insanely high damage to make up for it. Fair enough, I think it could be balanced around though, especially since its kf1 incarnation is literally useless I think it's do-able - this actually came up in the subreddit thread, since crossbows use bolts instead of actual arrows it's plausible that the Bow could potentially be better in some aspects, like high penetration or high damage. Realistically, if you wanted, it could even be a tier 2, or, say, Survivalist's tier 1, or an alt Sharpie tier 1. I mainly added the Beserker crossperk because I feel like Beserker could be really interesting with ranged-weapon-loadouts, hence the throwing knives, and it works with the idea of Zerk using really weird weapons. Like the HMTech situation I mention below, I wasn't really worried about stats, I just wanted to get the idea out there and see if people felt the same way about it just being in the game. I literally just want an HMTech Sniper rifle. It could have whatever stats you want. I personally think it should be a tier 4 with similar mechanics to the Fn-FAL , but, it's a sniper rifle that a Medic could use, the ideas are endless, I just wanted to get it out there. You could have a syringe that travels instantly and instantly heals for a certain amount of health but can only be used at 100% charge, you could have your idea, you could have a stock of syringes instead of a recharge system. Mainly because it'd literally just be a more useless alt of the Bone Crusher for Zerk. I also had a lot of trouble just coming up with a general idea for its use, because of the mechanics of a Riot shield. I do think giving it a side-arm like you suggested would probably be the best idea.
I wouldn't mind getting a tf2-medigun styled weaponry that can heal people with the healing beam and hurt zeds in emergency with the ouchie beam an equipment thats really great if your teammates really love dodging the health needles
Personally I'd like something people can't avoid, a healing airstrike, if they go indoors? Don't care, Science says these rockets can pass through matter, ha, Science bitch!
