You keep saying "Sharpie" instead of Sharpshooter and you gave me an idea for a Survivalist replacement.
The Sharpie. He gets a giant permanent black marker and runs around drawing moustaches and dicks and such on Zeds to damage them (emotionally). It'd be more of a useful class than Survivalist.
Problem with that is having a heal-exclusive medic means one less bullet dispenser to fill the Zeds up. I think the Hemogoblin was a clear sttempt at making a more utility-focused Medic weapon, where you hit a few priority targets with the bullets to debuff them, and then focusing on healing.
Not that i object to the idea, of course
they're still only working on survivalist?
that really sucks since it's taken them like a year already
i really hope they bring back the dolphin bomber thing from kf1 that works like bombchus from zelda ocarina of time. that was a fun, weird weapon
Read the last WWAUT, they outline a bunch of Firebug mechanic changes
The Seal Squeal? Cause that just shoots rockets ("harpoons") that stick to enemies and have a much longer explosion delay. I want it back too, but I don't know where Bombchus comes from, those things move, don't they?
Orcha bomber was more like TF2 Demo's GL imo

no i'm talking about this one. the bombs slide along the ground with a little propeller on the back, it's cool
Oh shit, really? It's been so long since I've actively played KF1 beyond just firing in the firing range, that I thought it was just a reskin.
TWI is currently setting up an AMAA (aka an AMA focused solely on the game and the team), and they put a thread up for people to ask questions on should they not be able to attend the actual thread tomorrow.
For once I wish I legit used Reddit.
what do you want asked?
A few things I wanted asked to the TW team was if we can have four loadout slots for every character we have in KF2 since if you wanna go to an old loadout you'd have to switch everything up instead of switching on the fly, something akin to how TF2 does it. Another thing is if we can possibly have an in-game music player that allows us to replace the current in-game songs with ones we have on our PC, also akin to how Crypt of the Necrodancer works. Also new JoJo skins when .
You know the big draw of PC gaming is the ability to have multiple programs open at once. You can just use a third party program to play music.
?
Also, I asked a few question - but didn't get a response. Sad days.
From what I could gather via the TWI posts - the entire year is outlined already, all the events and weapons for 2019 are already planned out. Aside from noting a few bugs they'd look at, I didn't get much new info outside of them confirming that work is being done on other perk skill trees, not just the two Problem Children (Fireboy and Survival Man), and things like the Old Trader coming back, Modding become easier, new voicelines for old characters, ETC are unlikely.
Too late for KF2 in my opinion. It's not a Bethesda game with a huge pool of talent willing to wait years for things to get manageable. I'd venture that over 90% of any talented modders left the scene long ago and won't come back—still, I won't complain if they make it better.
Hopefully they'll keep this in mind whenever they get around to KF3 so it can have the modding scene the game deserves.
Yeah true. I do usually have Youtube open to listen to other songs while playing cause the old ones get old after a while, but I thought it'd be a nice addition.
Why did it change the quote from "becoming" to "become"? I don't understand this forum anymore.
Probably because i edited the post after you initially quoted me
Pretty underwhelming ama.
Anyone know where I can find their responses on Reddit?
The main problem with that for me at least is how the moods vary wildly between combat and trader rounds. Having something downbeat in between waves kind of sets that mood of taking a break, and if I have upbeat music on in the background I'd have to constantly switch it out. I suppose it might not be an annoyance for a lot of people, but even just the ability to have the game automatically switch between player defined Combat and Trader playlists would be cool. Or at the very least a nice list of appropriate files to change and a good, readily available guide.
Ctrl-f TWI. A few of the team members don't have that in their names, so the best solution i've found for them is just to scan the page for replies that have the TWI insignia on the right of the text.
Also some good news
