I haven't played the game in about two years, get me up to speed. What'd I miss
The said "Zedconomy overhaul" means we are seeing a overhaul to the Vault System too?
Since you said 2 years ago, I will assume you mean the full game launch in 2016, so I'll do my best to give a recap of what happened after that.
Weapon Additions
Firebug: Spitfire Flare Revolvers, Mac 10 SMG, Husk Cannon
Bezerker: Bonecrusher Mace & Shield, Static Strikers Lightning Gauntlets
Commando: Stoner 63A LMG
Support: HZ12 Multi Action Shotgun, Doomstick Quad Barrel shotgun
Field Medic: Hemoglobin (Debuff weapon)
Demolitions: Seeker 6
Gunslinger: AF2011-A1
Sharpshooter: SPX Centerfire, M99 AMR
SWAT: Heckler & Koch UMP
Survivalist: Freezethrower
Gameplay Additions
Cross perk weapons: Weapons can now cross perk with each other, allowing for more varied loadouts (ie Commando gets all bonuses with the medic rifle, support can use trench gun/ nail gun etc)
Weapon Upgrades: Weapons can now be upgraded at the trader for a damage bonus (although they are looking into making the system more varied, besides only upping damage
Weekly outbreaks: Limited time game modes which you can complete for rewards like cosmetics and vault dosh. Notable mutations being a bobble head mode, Fleshpounds only, etc
Vault System: Reward system where doing daily and weekly objectives earn you in game cash which can be redeemed for unlocked vault series crates
Stand Your Ground: Map centric gamemode where you and your team defend a set area for dosh, EXP, and vault rewards
Endless Mode: Endless mode. Difficulty increases linearly until you reach HoE. There is a boss every 5 waves, and after wave 10 you can get special rounds like the weekly outbreaks
Presitge: You can now prestige your perks. Your reward is a special knife skin, a unique perk icon and a 30% exp multiplier. They have more tiers and rewards planned for the system
ZEDS
Bosses: King fleshpound, Abomination (bloat themed boss)
Common Zeds: Quarter Pounds, Gorefiends (dual bladed gorefasts), Rioters (Elite clots with body armor), EDAR (robot enemies)

Last week we mentioned that the FN-FAL was the just community picked classic joining the Killing Floor 2. Today we want to go over all the arsenal additions!
Commando’s rejoice, this update looks to extend the Commando’s choices and multi perk selection to allow for more player options. The previously announced Tier 4 FN-FAL is targeted not just at the Commando perk, but for the Sharpshooter as well, featuring a 4X scope.

The other multiperk inclusion is the new HMTech-501 Medic Rifle. This fresh out of the labs augmentation to the HMTech lineup has an underslung grenade launcher fitted and chambered to fire Medic healing grenades at range. Slotting into the 5th tier weapon pool, this one is sure to keep your friends happy, and the Zeds dead!

And one final weapon that is pure Commando. Sure, you’ve seen it before in the hands of the enemy, but isn’t it time you turned the tables and took on the Zed’s with this blast from the past? Announcing the Tier 4 MKb. 42 (H) straight out of whatever bunker that Hans has been hiding his collection in.

Those are some fucking nice guns, happy to see Medic getting some more attention aswell, needs more offensive capability for that Combat Medic role, bit of self defence.
Gotta say, that Zedternal Gamemode mod legit resparked my interest in KF2.
It's everything I pretty much wanted out of a infinite wave KF2 survival, it's fun and hectic.
Only problem with it and it's not even the mod's fault, it's how KF2 handles spawning the zeds.
Like I had an entire army of enraged scrakes spawn on me at wave 22 due to having too many zeds spawned at the time.
Other than that I legit wish it was an official thing, I'd play it to death for XP cuz it's fun.
Oh crap you live. So a question: So I know that with the old class that was scrapped, the Martial Artist, will never come into KF2. But if it's possible can we get more fist related weapons that are kind of like the newly added Gauntlets? Would be fun to have more hand-to-hand encounters with Zeds.

They were added around the end of summer sideshow. I wouldn't expect anything to come of them until october/late september

Have people come up with easier ways to mod the sound, or is it just impossible? My stuff used to work, but within the last few months the songs wouldn't play anymore and leave me with silent waves, and now after redoing the files they just cause the game to crash now.

burst fire is always terrible and should never be an option
I find burst fire really useless honestly. Against big targets, it lowers your dps compared to full-auto, and against small targets, it wastes ammo because you only need one or two shots to kill most little shits and it forces you to fire three.
Full auto with trigger discipline is still the best, with semi auto in second.
You guys got any quick tips for HOE while playing Commando/Support? Haven't beaten a single level yet.
Burst fire is only good an the AK12 vs scrakes, otherwise the normal fire mode is superior.
As a commando main, what I mainly do for HoE is sort of dependent on my team. If we don't have a dedicated medic, I usually pair up a Medic Rifle with a Scar. If medicine is of no concern, M16 and Scar. Keep the scar for any medium trash zeds and Scrakes. With good aim to the head, you can cut through Scrakes with relative easy. M16 is good for trash and that underbarrel grenade launcher is your best friend for Fleshpounds, combined with your HE greandes. Don't forget that fleshpounds and explosive vulnerable and bullet resistant, while Scrakes are the opposite. If there are too many Fleshpounds to reliably deal with and you really need to fend off attacks, start parrying with the knife. This shit saves lifes, that's how I managed to solo the King Fleshpound as a commando on a very tight map.
On a side note, the Commando gun love puts me in heaven. Seriously cannot wait for the update.
I think FAL will be strong af on marksman. Full auto super-headshots.

I'm guessing the FAL will have some seriously intense recoil to balance out the full auto headshot takedowns. Assuming 20 round mags, it'll also have lower damage/mag than the M14. And probably a lot less stun power as well. Still has the potential to be very powerful in sharpshooter's hands, can't wait to use it.
