Nice! Mind sharing the IP?
I'd rather not share it publically over here, all things considered. PM me on discord, Recurracy#7126
Is it possible? Sure, we have a list of 150 weapons we are interested in doing. Doesn't mean we'll get to them all.
Is there a way to try on cosmetics on a character? I've been toying around with a few cosmetics and already ran into the issue of the item not looking as good as I had imagined on the character or being conflicting with an other item, and I really can't be bothered to do the cosmetics glitch every time just to wear something.
While youre here- are there any plans to expand upon the perk system? As it is its fairly linear due to one skill being a clear winner in most cases.
I asked about it during the Dev stream a while ago, and they said outside of the survivalist re-work they don't have any plans for the perk skill system atm.
Why can't we have something based around Electricity? I want Tesla Guns and arcing electricity damn it.
That's interesting. Thank you for answering. Also I had one more question: Do you think you and the KF team could probably do more crossovers with games like you did with KF1, like probably bringing back the Pyro from TF2 or adding someone else from another game?
I've posted this before but a weapon like this would just be amazing to see in KF https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_iYb0qt1ss
Can we play as KF1 characters, with the same wonky running animations.
zedternal is fun as fuck nothing like instantly reloading the boomstick with 5 AND m99 with 2 bullets while also having magic bullet and a metric shitton of reserve ammo, and running at doomguy pace at that too killbox servers miss out on the fun part of actually surviving

Love it if we get the bile thrower back, especially if it melts zeds. Might as well put that gore system to use right?
I really don't understand the fascination with Killbox-only servers. Kiting in a featureless, fullbright map got old the first time I played the thing, especially in Zedternal. My favorite thing so far are the mach speed arm flailing that happens with the dual 1858's and maxed out reload speeds.
Am I the only one who really wants a West London remake? That was my favorite map. I really just like all of the urban maps like Burning Paris, Evac point or Hostile Grounds.
Get the Server Extension Mod from the Tripwire forums (Workshop versions are forks or old reuploads, avoid them). The mod unlocks many (maybe most?) of the cosmetics for the game up to a point (not really sure what the cut off point was/is) for the server running the mod—run it in a solo game. It's not a perfect solution but it's something. It's possible the summer event ending broke the mod (haven't played it since) so you may need to wait for a fixed version to get posted. https://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/forum/killing-floor-2/killing-floor-2-modifications/general-modding-discussion-ad/beta-mod-releases/2307119-mutator-server-extension-addons?p=2321457#post2321457 They really should just let you preview all of the cosmetics (including weapon skins) but that would be useful so of course not.
Have a diamond friend
The problem with all custom KF servers is that eventually people want the easiest route to victory and those maps provide that. There's also the problem that properly made maps almost never have enough ammo spawns for the mods, especially if it's a big server. I still hate playing on those featureless scrub maps though. Putting 1200+ hours into the Guardian servers for KF1 made me eternally hate all of those maps. Especially Canville. Fuck that scrub map forever.
Nothing makes me sadder than to come home after work and the only viable servers are running those big cubed arena maps. Its like 2fort and dustbowl all over again.
We all want more urban and less ridiculous sci-fi maps.
I really liked the map "Mountain pass" in kf1. It had a real post apocalyptic feel to it.
Yea I miss them as well, Underground, Office and Hospital and even the hardest ones, Suburbia and Icebreaker. They had the charm of "the world is ending, go fight for your lives" that only wase captured in KF2 with Paris and the port one honestly, as the rest of maps are "isolated from the world" in a way or another.
Icebreaker was my favorite official map and is the one I wanted KF2 to remaster the most.
Aaaaaand if anyone wants some zedfinity chaos on my server, here you go: steam://rungameid/232090/connect/vier.lewd.se:7777
Where's a trapmaster class actually? Like setting up landmines and trip wires and shit.
Yeah I know about that, I dunno how to make the server automatically download missing content. Gotta go to the workshop yourself: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=840754106 Mario64 isn't the only map I'm running though, I oughtta put together a list sometime.
Open PCServer-KFEngine.ini add this to the bottom of the .ini [OnlineSubsystemSteamworks.KFWorkshopSteamworks] ServerSubscribedWorkshopItems=644068210 Add more for every map/mod you download after that, locate a section called "[IpDrv.TcpNetDriver]" and paste this below the title DownloadManagers=OnlineSubsystemSteamworks.SteamWorkshopDownload This will allow you to have players automatically download from the workshop servers while joining your server. Mario 64 would look like this: ServerSubscribedWorkshopItems=840754106
I knew about the subscribed workshop items line, heh. Just didn't know about the download managers. Doing that now, thanks.
Nuked has that feeling imo, which is part of why it's my favourite map
I hate the colors in Nuked, it has too much red and I find it tedious to play on because of it. Too bad because otherwise it's one of the better made maps.
