This really comes down to any interested parties willing to work with us. We are mostly open to any crossover ideas.

Maybe I'll finally be able to find a match with my friends that doesn't set us up on servers with 200 ping. Seriously we all live in the US, why does it always give us EU ping servers every single fucking time. I've had to manually browse servers for the group since the game released.
Agreed. For all the game offers, the matchmaking system is absolutely rubbish for finding any servers you could plausibly play on well.
I think one thing you can do is create an announcement/poll asking the KF community what franchise they want to see crossover into KF2 one day and whichever franchise gets the most votes can help you choose which company you can ask if they wish to crossover instead of waiting for one to possibly ask.
Yeah ive never touched matchmaking. Would much rather browse the server list in its current state.
Can't break the habit of server browsing since kf1. Plus some server names and maps make me laugh

I don't because it's shit, I prefer the server browser.
I see the occasional US player getting shoved into Aussie servers from it and complaining about 300 ping, so at least some people do.
I got rammed into Japan servers so many times never again
it wasn't so bad when I got put in one the real hard shit was when I tried playing demo

It's really fucking weird that all this effort is going into event zeds yet the variants are the worst fucking thing in the world despite the fact that they're permanent additions
I don't mind variants myself, too much. Probably the worst offenders are the EDARs and Alpha Clot. Nothing says fun like getting sniped by a rocket barrage. I feel like it may make it a little too confusing for new players, though. I have a friend that panics every time quarter pounds roll around because he thinks they're flesh pounds and can't really tell the difference.
Yeah the Rioter's design is pretty shit when you take into account how all the Zeds look and the inclusion of EDARs, like they shouldn't look like some survivor who went mad captured some Alpha Clots and slapped some scrap metal onto them, it doesn't fit the aesthetics of the rest of the Zeds, I mean it only remotely looks similar to the brutish look of the Fleshpound, but even then it's pushing it a bit.
yeah the summer sideshow rioters were much better because the armour was bulky and clearly covered them completely. they need to give them some ridiculous metal armour like a diving helmet or something
Anyone else think the Clots have a little too much variety? I'd happily remove some of them from the rooster for a particular game. Reminds me of mutators, whatever happened to them
Its weird, because they actually put effort into the cyst, and slasher designs, but they just decided to slather a clot in paint and call it a day for the rioter/elite same with the crawler
It is a little rediculous that there's the Cyst, Alpha, Rioter, Slasher, and THEN the trapper EDAR which can grapple you from a distance, even.
The sci-fi maps are cute lorewise, but get boring within seconds. They just don't look right.
So the next event is Halloween, right? Update wise, should we expect anything sooner?
I feel like the sci-fi stuff was always in the mind of the devs, especially with Hans and the medic class, but this transition just isn't working out right.
It's probably the look. It doesn't has that "advanced and futuristic" look to it. Medic guns look like plastic toys, and the sci-fi maps look like something cooked in the 80's. Mind you, it makes perfect sense to have it. But it could look a lot better. Kind of offtopic, but remember Doom 3? When I went into the game the first time, everything looked super high tech and shit. This should look close to that.
Did TW ever announce any plans to improve the upgrade system? I hate how many people it turned away from the game. Like the guy who made SomeTestMap who removed it because he hates TW now, or the one who made that really good HoE guide
Ehhh I think it's kinda weird how KF2 becomes so vastly different from vanilla KF with each update....Perks are different, weapons are different, new enemies with annoying buffs, weapon upgrades with really fucky pricing and performance, weird aesthetics on 'high-tech' equipment, flashlights on your character instead of weapon... Like yeah a sequel should add new mechanics to play with but the difference is only becoming more and more huge. I can definitely see a lot of hardcore KF1 fans being unhappy with this direction.
