He's mid tier, people just end up handling fighting zoners poorly. He has a hard time dealing with pressure and the game is fairly pressure-heavy. The AI also is not good against him as it is too obsessed with trying to outcamp the best projectile game in it.
Top tier is Pet Shop, Kakyoin, Jotaro and Avdol. Everyone else is around mid except for Midler, who is irredeemably bottom-tier due to being a projectile character with terrible projectiles.
Yeah, definitely some really cool designs all-around. Chaka's counter likely inspired the way they work in Super Smash Bros, too.
I'm waiting for the day that's the PS3 emulator runs Jojo: ASB perfectly. I loved that game.
Is All-Star Battle an okay fighting game? From what I gathered via the FNF video when Super Best Friends played it, it wasn't as nearly as fan or balanced as Heritage for the Future. I did like just how many alt costumes there are in it and eyes of Heaven, especially a lot of Jotaro's alts.

All Star Battle was made by people who explicitly said it's not a fighting game, just that i used fighting game mechanics because it suited how Jojo fights better with tactics and smart play. It took a lot of patches for them to make it okay after realising a fighting game was what people wanted but it's still 30fps and really slow for a fighter. Boodendorf has quite a lot of combo videos and some good level play, which is super different from casual play too.
ASB is pure 100% fan service so it's always fun, but as a fighting game it's in a weird awkward place between anime-fighter and 3D-fighter that doesn't feel great.
Jojo is not a proper fighting game what so ever, shit is unbalanced as hell but damn the graphics and supers are worth it.
If we're talking about Heritage/Jojo's Venture, imo the game is worth it for the stand combo system alone. A fighting game mechanic where you can program a combo for your assist on the fly? almost endless options and fun
Someone posted this in the Lethal League discord and I gotta share it

HAVE A JAWBREAKER
I've only really played ASB, so I wouldn't know.
Heritage for the Future is an amazing game to just pick up and screw around with. 4 button system, your fourth button is your stand, different hits depending on whether your stand is out or not, and 214 + stand will let you input a custom combo (for characters with humanoid stands) that basically allows your stand to rush in and combo while you do your own thing. It's like Ice Climbers from Melee but in a fighting game, and it's super fun even to just play through the game.

That’s... a interesting choice for a article picture.

It's weird how custom characters are allowed in Ranked on SC6
On one hand, I agree with you, but on the other the Casual lobby system is just awful.
SC6 ranked is really bad as long as these wackass custom characters with smaller or bigger hit boxes keep showing up.
Ya SC6 ranked is pretty messed up on PC

Because of a combined Steam/Green Man Gaming sale, I now own Street Fighter V AE, Injustice 2, and Tekken 7. I know SF and Tekken are still well and alive, but is Injustice 2 populous, or has it been going the way of MVI Infinite because of the eventual MK12? it feels really solid, even if combos feel a lot more strict than I'm used to.
Also, I'm hoping that Aaron from Stickless.me will be finishing my custom mixbox soon, would people be interested in seeing pics of it? It's as small as physically possible and will hopefully have LEDs

Where'd everybody go?
So this could be more fitting for the Soulcalibur thread but I haven't dived through all that yet. In SC6, they kinda went the way of anime games and gave every character their own gimmick, and I've been
trying to nail them all down, but some are more obvious than others.
Nightmare - Armor moves giving him a buff that empowers other attacks
Siegfried - Buff state triggered by low health
Zasalamel - stacking timestop marks
Taki - Her second sword does chip damage
Kilik - Soul charge is infinite but drains his health, and gives access to a 2nd super
Geralt - Can meter burn moves
Yoshimitsu - Can steal meter and meter burn moves
Azwel - Each attack switches his weapon stance, if he uses an attack while already in the right stance, it comes out 2 frames faster.
Groh - (His teleport in Soul Charge?)
Voldo - (Fighting backturned?)
The rest I'm not sure of.
