While I can't tell you your opinion is wrong in this situation and actually agree somewhat (I think the base gameplay is too basic, too much of a focus on ToD combos and character assists, and all the characters feel basically the same thanks to things like the insta-dash), DBFZ was still a huge stepping stone in fighting game history. It introduced a LOT of people into fighting games, moreso than something like Smash, and for DBZ fans it's a huge breath of fresh air after the Xenoverse series. I don't know, I just don't like a fighting game's tournament scene dying solely because a company is full of piece of shit capitalists that want money. I'd expect SFV or Tekken 6 or MK12 to suffer that fate, considering how rocky their launches and microtransaction-laden business models are, and unlike DBFZ, people that play those games could easily roll back to other games in the series. DBFZ players have Blazblue I guess? Guilty Gear? Also! Even though it took way longer than it should've (I think around 6 months from ordering to receiving it?) and cost a pretty penny, it was definitely worth it. I'd definitely recommend Aaron/Stickless, and now that he's done with school, it won't take him 6 months to make orders anymore.

I've tried Smash with my hitbox before and I wouldn't recommend it unless you somehow have one of your buttons set up as a modifier for walking. You can't do a tilt. Unless you meant a different ultimate.

Ok, done that. Now getting 960/1000 and turning things off or on has no effect.

You have to hold the directional button when pressing the attack button instead of pressing both instantly. It's because (afaik) Smash attacks are determined by how long the movement button is held before the attack button is used. With enough practice you can get it down pretty consistently. I'd say it's more a flaw with Smash's design (that could easily be solved by allowing tilt attacks to be bound separately on more than just the right stick) than with the Hitbox, and something I can live with since analog control presents its own host of problems.

So now I think the control panel settings are controlling your settings and overriding the game's. You can go back to the way it was by going back to the control panel, going to Adjust Image Settings With Preview, and checking "Let the 3D application decide." So if that didn't fix your problem, I can only suggest doing more research cuz I'm outa ideas.

It lets you enjoy things far beyond a console, but sometimes shit just doesn't work. Often requiring a bit of troubleshooting. I'd urge you to do a bit of searching for problem solving. A lot of times the thing causing your problem can be a really simple, stupid problem. Like do you have any problems with other games? You could possibly be thermal throttling, I was having that issue before I changed my CPU cooler. Hell man, make a post in the hardware section of the forum and they might be able to help you a bit better

if you haven't refunded the game yet since you're on windows 10 I'd recommend you try disabling "fullscreen optimizations" if you haven't already. GF got me a damn Qanba Obsidian for christmas. Using a big stick feels so much better than playing on a pad, but it's going to take me forever to relearn how to play Tekken.

i used to never pay much attention to fighting games because i guess i wasn't going into it with the right mindset, but i got tekken 7 to play with a friend during the christmas sale and it's been a lot of fun. i used to just button mash but spending a bit of time to look at how to work a character has opened my eyes, so to speak. i still suck ass but that comes with the territory. king is dope as fuck, i love that i can press a series of buttons and then take a drink as he breaks a school girl's back.
