This is going to be Shiki's first appearance in a non-handheld, 2-D Samurai Shodown. She had previously only appeared in the rarely-played early 3D games and the Neo Geo Pocket SS games, as well as SNK vs Capcom: SVC Chaos.

Current EVO 2019 registration rankings. Smash Ultimate sitting pretty at the top of the list, with Tekken following close behind. UNIST and MK11 also show high numbers and may even overtake SF.
DBFZ has much lower numbers compared to last year, with BBCTB currently dead last, though it may be due to the late patch announcement.
It's so cool to see tekken that high, tekken 7 really was a breath of fresh air that the series needed.
I'm no Tekken 7 player but I do like watching the tournament.
Sad that Soul Calibur VI is so low.
Soul Calibur's never had a very strong following for reasons I can never explain. Which is a shame because the games have always been so great (for me) despite what a lot of people have to say

The game is kind of a mess; weird bugs, very VERY situational matchups, completely lackluster single player mode for casuals, super truncated CAS also for casuals, headscratching balancing decisions including allowing CAS bullshit into ranked play without the remotest attempt to balance it for not casuals, and just general weirdness.
