Didn't they say there is a rather high probability of a Season 2 DLC?
Knowing ArcSys, it might be with the "Rev" edition of DBFZ. Hopeful that the next wave of DLC, if it happens, will be more varied.
Like Kefla. Or Roshi. Or Videl.
At least we (probably) still have Cooler and 18 to look forward to.
This is the reason why Hyper Dragon Ball Z is the superior game.
or Mr. Satan.
i'm glad that it's atleast saiyan saga vegeta
hopefully they'll both have different stances

I'm not going to be too bothered by the fact they're adding 2 more clones in, as long as they play different enough from their original counterparts.
I know it may seem annoying at first, but honestly, I'd rather wait for some gameplay before completely disowning them.
Goku is about what I expected. Only hoping Kaioken is a buff like Golden Frieza to help separate his play style and not be just another cinematic move.
Vegeta is mildly disappointing. I know it's probably too crazy, but I was really hoping his level 3 would be Great Ape.
Some info about the Kaioken seems to point to something that allows to combo stuff into stuff. Kinda like a Custom Combo mode maybe? It feels like it will be on a timer, maybe shorter the higher the multiplier (after all, Kaioken strains the fighter so could be their way to balance it out)
As for Veg, Great Ape could be a Dramatic Finish. Great Ape seems to be a tad tough to implement, even as a super. But ArcSys did models for Goten and Trunks, along with base and SSJ Gotenks for an intro.
They could definitely go the extra mile for a one time thing like the Great Ape.

The stream with Daigo, Koichi, and Nishitani. Left channel has english audio.
I can only imagine playable Great Ape going something like this

Good god I forgot about this game and its hot dog tails.
So that weekend, went to VSFighting in UK.
Tried some tournament (DragonBall Fighter Z, Blazblu Xtag, Tekken 7 and Guilty Gear) and lost after 1 and 3 match to each.
And I had to play a match on stream and I played really badly. So bad that all the comments on the twitch channel was like "wow those players are bad" not really pretty.
Got to try FEXL and it was all right, and also got to try Soul Calibur VI and its good, the critical edge is really easy to place (Maybe easier than rage art), Gerald and Grøh were fun newcomers.
Finally got to meet Sonicfox5000 and Kayane irl once!
I also went to a tournament to play poorly on Stream. Got to beat a sponsored (Street Fighter) player for the first match of the day. I played super nervous but thankfully I had been running casual sets with a Dragunov just before this.

I doubt it's exclusive but Switch version will come with the option to play 1v1 and 2v2 for local.
By the way, Them's Fightin' Herds just got a nice complete tutorial update that teaches you how to touch the cow. Also things like frame data and how to optimize your combos but that is nerds stuff.

"The "party match" mode is already available for the other consoles as an online mode. The announcements are exclusive to the switch version. /cd"
Unless Twitter completely fucked up the tweet, then it looks like those modes are Switch exclusive.
So Switch version is even more casual friendly, as it also comes with a simpler button controls too. Sure, I'll dig it but still feels a bit unfair the other version won't get 1v1/2v2.
Ye wow. They seem to play radically differently.
That's a very good thing. Also they just look cooler then the Saiyan or Blue ones.
Also, official trailers with better overall audio:
Vegeta
Goku
I hope Base Goku will have a dramatic finish against Freeza, and it will be like this(with going Super Saiyan mid Freeza's finger beam to no-sell it):

I might be hoping for too much, but still...
I really hope the Dramatic Intro of Base Goku and Base Vegeta on Wasteland is Vegeta blowing up Nappa.
you already know its gonna be this

I hope we're getting galick gun vs kamehameha dramatic finish
I unironically want base Goku to have a dramatic intro against Nappa with the scouter-crushing scene. If only so we can get scouter Vegeta for a few seconds.
Yeah. I'm just hoping hey make one for when Goku was fighting Nappa too.
