Chaffs not that great with it, and most people use flares. Really hard to get the range right with the Opp2ssor. The Opp2ssor would actually be a very balanced vehicle if either you coulden't summon it from the MC menu or it didn't have the "Fuck you, you're already dead!" tier-2 homing rockets. I'd really wonder how air-aces like Flexcreator, The Professional or Ghillemaster deal with them, because as far as I am concerned the airgame is now broken. Yes, Flexcreator, you *can* do these large ass bank turns to evade the rockets. Doing so means you can't attack, because the moment you line yourself up to destroy the Opp2ssor is the moment he's going to pin you down. I do think they will patch the Opp2ssor... or at least this glitch where you'll go at speed if you bob up and down with it very rapidly. Maybe just that, Rockstar seems to not care at all about the games meta sometimes to the point where you traditionally had weird counters to things
I got my first order of PC parts in the mail. Gonna have to wait for another payday to get the rest. I want to see my character's leather jacket with very high quality textures
Since the idea of a grounded and remotely realistic GTA update is now dead and buried, when are we getting the Iron Man power armour update? Complete with coastal mansion that is required to even purchase and mod the armour much like what the Bunker - MOC and Nightclub - Terrorbyte are to the Super Oppressor Bros.
The new dance animations are glitched in a pretty funny way. If you do one of the dances and immediately get in a vehicle, your character will freeze mid-animation. It looks like they're driving with no hands Apparently it also works during cutscenes, but I haven't tried that out yet.
To sum up, GTA Online is even more of a shit show than ever before.
Opressor MKII is just straight up overpowered. Like I honestly can't find a single counter to it. As soon as it comes towards you you're fucked. Why the fuck have they even added it?
If something makes the life of the average player harder, they're going to have a harder time earning money which also happens to increase the chances of a shark card sale. They may nerf it eventually, but unless they can do some magic with background scripts, the earliest possible time is probably late September/October for the next update. Of course, the earliest possible release is pretty optimistic because they may not even want to release new shit around the release of RDR2.

The only real counter I have seen for it that's easy to do is spraying it with a minigun. No, not an assault rifle, that's not powerful enough. Must be a minigun. Because the pilot is unarmored, it'll devastate them if they try to do a ram with it. Offmeta counters include things like using the avenger with a gunner, however really nothing else works. And truth be told, it's also the kind of thing that'd be easy TO nerf while still keeping its "Greifability" up. Lets face it, greifing and tryharding are part of the game and Rockstar not only knows this but subtly supports it. So what should they do? Just change the rockets to be the normal homing rockets that are fired from either a buzzard or the homing launcher. And done. Oh, it'll still be a good greifing vehicle - I'm afraid they won't be changing that. It's clear being able to spawn it from the MC menu is by design. Whatever turns you on, RS. However! With nerfed rockets, dogfights can actually be fun instead of "I win lol" (unless your opponent is *also* in a Opp2ssor, then you both die) and it'd actually have some counters, both hard and soft. It's actually kindof cute when someone tries to dogfight me with a Strikeforce against my flying bike. Because it's almost impossible for them to win.
I managed to shoot down a shmuck in MK II Oppressor twice with Speedo Custom's minigun twice
It's funny how fast the Deluxo and Opressors can go from Machines of Death to annoying flies once they lose their ability to home on to you. I would like to extend what Biohazard said, and just give every vehicle with homing capabilities the same basic rockets like the normal homing launcher. No more easy mode, with maybe the exception of the Chernobog since homing missiles are kindof it's point, and you sacrifice a lot just setting up and being a static target with zero armor.
Kinda wish the Chernobog had an artillery mode so I could launch rockets across the map at specific point, time to destination and shit, lend fire support for people.
The Chernobog was such a fuck up. Whose idea was it to only be able to fire rockets while stationary? The "Escort ULP" mission just feels broken because of this. You have enemies constantly on your ass, you have to keep stopping periodically to shoot down helicopters, and the driver can't even shoot out of the window.

Looking at it I think it has front mount machineguns, that thing that literally does nothing.

Woah son hold on. I woulden't go that far, as the Deluxo has a valid use but due to its (lack of) speed is incredibly vulnerable to everything. Even if you don't have the explosive sniper yet, the homing launcher will wreck a tryhards day since they cant lock onto you. And what is the use of the deluxo? Anti Oppressor, also a soft counter to aircraft. Now you still have the Ruiner2k, Stromberg, Vigilantee and Scramjet. These come with their own drawbacks, although they're less pronounced on the Vigil and Scramjet. Ruiner and Scramjet? Blow up with one rocket. Stromberg? Great as an anti air platform, actually pretty slow. Vigil? Prob the best for greifery of the four but you're better off using a oppressor (either the old one or even the hypothetical Biohazard-Nerf variety) or a Deluxo if you want to get cheap kills while calling people f****ts. Also, they can still be countered with a Khanjali which has the problem where it's even slower and has absolutely no way to engage air threats. Really, the balance of the game is weird but things do even out. Until now. I'm actually curious on what the conseneus of the thing is from the view of flyboys. You know, the kinds of people who hunt hydras with Starlings. If the thing can actually take down one of these ace combat vets somewhat reliably then I think we really do have a problem.
You're right, i overreacted. As for your last point, as a flyboy i can confirm the best thing you can do when encountering a Mk II in any plane is gaining altitude as fast as possible and hope they don't get a lock on you. As for when they do lock on, i did have some lucky breaks in the Pyro being able to somehow outmaneuver the missiles, but you literally have zero weaponry to bring the fight to them, unless you have godlike aiming and can hit them with your cannons. The best luck i've had with taking down MkII is crawling into an APC and getting a lucky shot in.
You know, I hope RDR2 PC invests in some good anti cheat tech. Its actually annoying when you blow up a salty modder and they decide to freeze you then crash your game when you play smart with them by going in passive mode See the Deluxo was balanced in a similar way to the hydra: Both are ultimately glass cannons. The Deluxo more so if you are going after ground targets as it will often blow itself up if you attempt to divebomb and even the pathetic homing launcher can give it nightmares.

God the Menacer is even uglier than the Nightshark. It looks like it was made out of Legos. Does it bring anything new to the table over the other armored vehicles available?
As far as I know, it has the shitty handling flags and the performance testing I've seen of it shows it being slower than the Insurgent Custom. I haven't really seen any testing on its armor, but I doubt it's anything special compared to the other armored vehicles.
It's honestly like the Nightshark and the Insurgent Pick-up had a miscarriage. It's got the worthless frontal guns of the Nightshark, and the upper-turret of the Pick-up, but without the option to upgrade armor so your gunner wouldn't be a sitting duck up there.
