All spells are rebalanced and some reworked, in adition to new skills and supports.
'Fractured' items gives mods that can't be changed, with a 3x1 trade to create base items with custom implicits.
Betrayal League is added to the game.

The custom implicits are based on the mods of the items used. Good to know they put on the player a small amount of control in the outcomes this time.
Rare items? What's that? I only know of shaper&elder/fossil/multi-craft items
Unleash Support looks nice, I wonder how many charges it can get. I miss self casting
The music is god-tier, and they said they reworked a lot of music, Im so excited!
Sunspire supporter pack looks surprisingly good aswell
Apparently zerker will be in 3.7. Hopefully 3.7 will make melee up to snuff in general.
Of 3.6 though, it'll be interesting to see the support gems in action. Still I'm wondering of reflect, since that's honestly 60% of why I stick to non self cast.
I'm glad they're taking a look at self-casting spells, but I really hope they don't leave melee skills in the gutter again.
New league looks fun though, and some of the new spells look really fun. The fact that GGG is also focusing on making more meta-shifting uniques instead of filler garbage is great to hear as well.
The new supporter packs also come with premium hideouts. I really like the sunspire one.

Kamehameha MTX for Divine Ire when?
I hope rebalancing every spell includes making Freeze Pulse not useless in small corridors/doorways.
New music for old areas

Oh boy I can't wait for 3.6
Have been on and off this game ever since 2012 (I think) but never really played too much or got too far until I started playing in Betrayal and oh boy what a time sinker!
Learning everything and getting to endgame is really hard work but it's a lot of fun.
Managed to get 26 out of the 40 challenges and I'm happy with that given it took me a big while just learning how to actually get into the endgame.

Either they're really changing ES or this league is going to be power creepy as hell for ES builds.
Content Update 3.6.0 -- Path of Exile: Synthesis
Surprisingly, Inpulsa's lives. Arc and BV did get nerfed though...
There also really doesn't seem to be any big selfcasting buffs? It's pretty much just reducing mana cost. At least the ED buff is nice if Soulrend turns out to be bad.
It feels like they just made spells worse overall. For both self casting AND via other sources like totems or traps and so on. They did reduce dmg across the board.
Kind of a meh set of patch notes. I expected more radical changes for some of the more under-used spells in the game. Some spells got some good love, but the ones I expected to really get attention (Firestorm, Fire Nova Mine, Spectral Shield Throw, etc,.) got left in the dust.
Lightning Tendrils, ED, and EK got some nice buffs though. I'm excited to see what people do with them. Some of the new support gems look really interesting too, and Chain & Fork look like actual contenders in a build again.
Oh shit I didn't even notice:
Summon Raging Spirit.
Mana Cost at gem level 20 is now 16 (was 12)
Last thing SRS needed was a fucking nerf
They did nerfed Arc? That's surprising.
And they nerfed Hatred too.
Oh and ability to buy Detonate Mines from Lilly is nice.
What're you all thinking of the league thus far? I haven't had a chance to really dig into it yet, but purifying flame seems good, and is thematically really flavorful for my inquisitor. Only level 30 but I'm having a blast so far.
Reddit appears to be on a huge anti-synthesis bandwagon, not sure why.
Played a bit the first day, got a tabula from a memory so that was cool. Not good with money so I'm just holding onto it and using it, but been too busy to play.
That feeling when you want to redo your occultist build as a trickster, but really do not want to slog through the campaign again.
I got my first ever Watcher's Eye today and I think I won PoE.

New box, weird items

I really do not like the facemask on the madcap set, not sure what it is about it but it just looks terrible to me. Like it's from a 2006 videogame about vampire wizards.
Geez, Disfavours are like 30-50c on SSC... I know melee is a meme right now but god damn. That alone makes me want to make an EQ Jugg or something...
Also they buffed map drops, the conspiracy theories were true!

Amount of soulrend builds increased by 4000%
Gosh darn is the Nexus a kick in the face.
The fractured item synthesizing is really interesting and seemingly way overtuned, but also rather boring and troublesome to make work.
But the nexus itself is just so bland and boring and badly designed.
Can't count anymore the number of times I had a full path planned out only for a random memory to pop up on the map and delete one of my planned mems from my inventory.
Everything else is pretty good tho, especially the fixes to betrayal performance, my PC handled this game perfectly last season and but in this one I have gotten lots of crashes, freezes and slowdowns.
I feel this was looked over because of the cat MTX: Further Synthesis changes
