If anyone quit because Synthesis is shit, the new patch is supposed to be later today that basically remakes the entire memory nexus system.

But today after 3-4 days of grinding from 13~ challenges I hit 36 now Am gonna aim for 40/40 since rest is quite easy. One good news is that.. SYNTHESIS AIN'T GOING CORE WOOO An Update From Chris Wilson Synthesis was more work than we expected. It was developed over the Christmas holiday, and its gameplay prototype came in very late.   It will not be merged into the core game in 3.7.0. Maybe we can do something with it in the future, but we have no current plans.

I really want to see what they did for gems and ascendancies. But great none the less.

Hopefully legion is more well received than synthesis. Glad to see that melee is getting love.
Synthesis suffered from being over convoluted as well as shitty mechanics regarding the decay. Add on top of that the lack of player agency where you feel the need to every league content like incursion, delve and so in. Along with the way Betrayal was terribly integrated. The synthesiser required you to use poedb for information and pretty much no one has access to these items, even ones in the "okay" range.
Tbh with all that extra content they introduce they should make the leagues a little longer. I always feel I don't have time to do other content.
The melee rework looks absolutely amazing. I don't really like playing casters in ARPGs, I've always preferred melee. Can't wait to try it out.
4 month league cycles would definitely be ideal, but the problem is that it's a heavy hit for GGG's financials. One entire league start removed annually is massive.

The flashback league has been quite a bunch more fun than Synthesis for me, especially more so that I went SSF so all the harbingers and stuff actually felt very good. Problem is playing two characters to get the high-tier rewards in such a short time has me really burned out, I'm afraid I may have to take a breather before getting into Legion.

I wonder if multistrike and spell echo will be nerfed now that they're essentially a fat speed increase with no downsides

I think they're... Okay... The aura effect is the only one that interested me. Wings were much nicer in Synthesis
I'm torn between thinking that helmet looks cool and that it looks stupid as fuck Better than the Harby party hat at least.
Balance in Path of Exile: Legion That's...a lot of stuff. Warlord's Mark leech is now attack only, the node behind BM now limits you to one aura but it's free, nerfed Occultist, Trickster, Elementalist, HOA, Abyss Jewels, Dense Fossils, ES in general... also HH is rarer? Slayer meta boys.

The headhunter nerf is dumb as shit. It's a very good item for a very specific use, like 90% of other end-build uniques. Bunch of crybabies always making devs "fix" stuff just because they can't have said stuff is a big problem in this game.
I don't understand the WM leech change. WTF are you supposed to do on no regen maps? Elementalist might as well be renamed to golemmancer. Rather they just replace the prolif with something else than remove it. Making chase uniques even more chase doesn't stop the top tier of the player base from getting them so why change it. I really wish they'd change the monster death effects, regen map mods, reflect to something you could actually play around. Right now it's your build either ignores them or you just don't do them.
