P a t c h n o t e s also u p d a t e d s k i l l t r e e Shield charge can now be used with wands. And they finally buffed Spectral Throw's damage effectiveness! Dunno if that'll make up for nerfed Abyss jewels though.
Oh shit this league is gonna be fun and refreshing.
Not having to use abyss jewels to have good damage is going to feel good.
PoB has been updated with the 3.7 tree, no gem changes yet
Definitely going ED Contagion Trickster as a starter to cheese legions.

Oof, the feeling of going through the campaign for the nth time is giving me a hard time. I think the problem is not access to every gem until act 6. I'd feel better if the gem vendors weren't character split before act 6.
Go do the library quest in act 3.
The problem is he doesn't appear in town so you have to mule currency back and forth. Plus the first two acts suffer from being from gem gating. I just find the content before atlas miserable to do because of stuff like gating gems and repeating linear content for the nth time. It just feels shitty each time.
He stands a few feet away from the library waypoints, it takes 0 effort.
I guess we should move oriath and act 6's vendor to the library if it's so fun and effortless. It's little things and large slogs which make the game unfun to do a fresh start with after the nth time.
You are trying too hard to hate the thing, don't do that.
To be fair, when all the other vendors are in town and automatically pull from your stash, but Siosa is the only one who doesn't do that, it really feels strange and unnecessary. I'm sure GGG could make him appear in the town, maybe give a lore reason in some lines such as "After the Exile cleared the library, Hargan went to search it for valuable books and antiquities. On his scavenging trip, he found Siosa and his painting, and took them back to town - part because he valued not only Siosa's advice on old texts, but he also saw the possible monetary value of the portrait as well."
Any interesting melee build ideas for the new league, always gone with spells or bows so I don't know where to start for this league
I think I'm gonna try something along the lines of a large range weapon combined with Infernal Blow + Melee Splash, and see how the reworked Cyclone works. Flicker Strike is always a blast to play, its the most fun skill in the game IMO and the only reason I'm not planning to go for it this time is because I've done it already so many times
Bladestorm has been pretty good so far. Haven't gotten to maps yet because of real-life responsibilities, but this league feels just more fun than Synthesis did in its outset. The crashes are really making me a bit peeved though. Feels like a lot more than previous league starts.
im still waiting for adventure mode so I don't have to go through the campaign for the nth time just to play another build
im at the end of the second act and havnt crashed once are they really that bad?

i wasnt liking this season much until i got my main skill, i guess i picked a shitty starting gem
What kind of rpg is this? Is it a modern-day Baldur's Gate or more of a monster mash?
It's an ARPG, like Diablo. More like Diablo 2 than 3.
