Does this game have a mode without building yet? I tried it once months ago and uninstalled it after 3 games because the building aspect made me want to neck myself.
If I had to guess looking at the standard glider, it looks like it flies using BluGlo, the same thing that allows the Battle Bus to fly. It's got the aesthetic as most of Vindertech's products, which are powered by BluGlo. https://d1u5p3l4wpay3k.cloudfront.net/fortnite_gamepedia/thumb/1/1a/Vindertech_weapons_promo_image.jpg/800px-Vindertech_weapons_promo_image.jpg?version=a23dd63943baa37289c063da778fb9cd https://d1u5p3l4wpay3k.cloudfront.net/fortnite_gamepedia/thumb/b/bd/Bluglo_icon.png/120px-Bluglo_icon.png?version=8798efa30f962fe986ed4f211692b548 For those who don't play Save the World mode, BluGlo is a fuel source found throughout the world in STW-it's found either lying around in random places or by completing mini-missions. Players need to collect this stuff in order to power up the main objectives of maps, such as refueling a van, or powering up an anti-storm weapon. I remember reading awhile back that when real-world scientists looked at the Battle Bus, they concluded there was no way for it to actually fly in real life, unless the fuel that's being used to fill the balloon was way more powerful then regular fuel. The mysterious qualities of BluGlo make it safe to assume that it's what allows things like the Glider in BR to fly despite not looking nearly as flight-capable as real life gliders.
Water confirmed for next season. Btw Deluxe Edition is just 30 euros for nobody knows how much time so I might get that
Man i talked about where were the handles n shit but thanks for the StW lore
Dude, you predicted the future. The new LTM has nerfed building mechanics. Players in this mode can only carry enough materials for a smaller fort. https://dotesports.com/fortnite/news/new-ltm-ground-game-joins-the-rotation-for-the-14-days-of-fortnite-event
Honestly doesn't feel like it makes much difference
its probably going to prevent people from building babel towers to gain a height advantage but for the common man that barely gets to build a wall it makes no difference at all.
My body is ready for Whaling Woods in next season.
sneaky silencers returns after being on the grave since fucking season 2 im gonna play it a lot
So the theory going around is that Season 8 will be aquatic themed, with the Fishsticks skin being a herald of that. Back during S5 folks were theorizing on a beach location coming to the map, maybe this is when it's actually gonna happen? Also, given that Spring is coming up, my guess is that the specific theme will be "Spring Break", since that time of the year is associated with beach vacations and such.
So they added the boombox which is essentially a anti building device with a huge AOE. But it's okay because you can just destroy it to end its effect early. Oh wait it has 600 health lmao.
I really, really hope we get boats and maybe a sub.
The aoe's not that big, you have to be right next to something really.

So yeah, with the addition of Boomboxes I've been coming to Tilted late only to find it kind of gone when I arrive.
A 3 tile radius is enormous when it comes to build battles. that sprint to safety would mean defeat more often than not. And even besides that, reminder that they also drop 2 to a stack.
How do you guys get into / good at building? I've been playing for about half a year and I just can't grasp that stuff, even with practice. Like I can throw up a few ramps here and there but nothing like the massive skyscrapers some people build.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aiqveqcVAlU Teaches some building techniques it also kinda boils down to good keybinds and fast movement of the mouse
I swear this game gets more and more resource intensive with every season. I was playing season 3 just fine on medium-low settings, had to drop it down to all low when I came back for season 5, had issues with the same settings where I'd sometimes drop into mostly unloaded geometry and not be able to enter buildings for a good 30 seconds or so at the start of season 6 (when I stopped playing), and I just checked it out this morning and resulted in not being able to have any bit of geometry no matter how long I waited. Sad to say, don't think I'm going to be able to play this game anymore until I get a new rig, which god knows how long that'll be.
If you don't want building, you might as well play another BR with first person and better shooting mechanics.
The only thing that I don't like is the lack of delay after building a piece. Especially when you shoot at someone in the middle of a field and they erect Casa del Wick in 0.63 seconds.
I like instant building since it gives speed building a near unlimited skill ceiling. There should be a short (~200ms) delay on replacing a recently destroyed piece though, otherwise turtling is only limited by the speed of turbo build.
I don't like how players that shit out a wooden titled towers and players that don't know holding M1 builds can be in the same game. Makes introducing people to the game almost impossible.
maybe now its a good idea to add ranked i just fought a dude who only built and never took 1 shot at me while i finished off my teammate then i got blasted by the tac smg (i was playing unvaulted) by a third party i dont remember unvaulted being so full of sweaty tryhards
wich is why i prefer StW. all of the gameplay BR offer minus the BR aspect of it.
So, does anyone else think next season will be about Chinese New Year? This new store skin has sandals and some Chinese-like patterns on his clothes. Also some dragon eggs appeared at Polar Peak.
I think there will be some aquatic/underwater themes as well, one of the sprays is a porthole, and sprays often foreshadow things.
I'm going with an aquatic theme. All that melted ice has to go somewhere after all.
the ocean surrounding the island? jk i know what you mean lol
Calibrations after a certain amount of hours logged(100?) with skill floors could help. No matter what you do though you will never full stop stompers
