Both of the location challenges this week are fucking awful
its still extremely good even after the nerf. the only meaningful change was the bloom increase which has almost no effect at close-close/medium range
I got lucky and completed the Haunted Hills one in two games.
we we're fooling last night with a friend in 50v50 and accidentally stumbled upon the clay shooting area. we spent a good amount of time fooling around with them and never i'd though they'd be part of this week challenge.
https://horobox.co.uk/u/4ZULFi.png tfw you land at haunted hills but then the circle was on paradise palms and i failed to walk all the way across the map in 2 minutes thanks epic

Indeed. Also the explosive eliminations suck balls. Killed a guy in Fatal Fields with a sticky bomb, it counted, but then, throwed another one randomly, someone killed me and then the sticky exploded in someone's face killing him, however that one didn't count.
The current SMG-focused meta already feels more stale than months of double shotgun tbh.
Try this in first person. I hate this game because I dont have the ability to switch to first person. I just cannot handle third person...
Do you mean a separate first person gamemode? Because using first person would make it nearly impossible to win.
It wouldnt be. In Gmod you can also win the Battle Royale mode there. First person is just god. At least a separate mode would be great.
First person in a game entirely about abusing third person is not going to make you win anytime soon. A first person LTM though would be interesting.
have fun getting absolutely assblasted by people who you can't see, but can see you thanks to you purposely crippling your extra vision given by third person, you're taking for granted how much more you can see with 3rd person
Thats the point. Hiding is no deal anymore. Special Attacks around the corners aren't a thing. I cant aim in thidperson and I die each time with over several years experience. The good news are that the Uninstall Button works.
at least you can use the uninstall button in first person mode.
I've managed to get every challenge for the week done except the stupid Haunted Hills Eliminations one. Doesn't help that I'm more of a lower skilled player. I've tried taking it on in squads but everyone just wants to go elsewhere, and in Solos I'm an absolute joke. There has to be a good solution to getting that one...the only thing I can think of where I'd remotely stand a chance would be if a 50v50 match ended up with the circle around it.
Yes works too but I wouldn't prob press it in First Person. Its realistic and you can just aim much better with better iron sight.
>Big dumb gun model blocking your screen so that all you see of the player you're shooting at is the top of their head >Front sight usually 3x wider than my preferred crosshair size >Usually forced to zoom in at ranges far too close for that to be desirable Iron sights are objectively awful for aiming in FPSes, they just magically make your gun more accurate in most games.
i usually don't care for ironsights unless i'm playing some realistic military game like arma
If you put attachements on it then It helps.
Is there any tips on finding the Lamas? I must've played 100 damn matches and still not found a single of the little bastards.
There is now a porn parody of Fortnite out called Fortnut
They often spawn on top of trees because of how they algorithmically spawn, so it's a good idea to keep looking above you. Other than that, it's almost all luck really. Some days you'll see one while gliding in and others you'll find in a low populated area in mid-late game.
3 spawn per game so it's pure chance
yeah llamas are random, have no distinctive glow, and can only be heard once you're pretty much in arms distance. do note they do NOT replace chests, so don't try finding them where chests normally spawn because 1) theyre literally random and 2) chances are another player would have grabbed it since its so proximal to said chest when u do find one make sure to build around it cause it takes like 5 seconds to interact with it, otherwise just kinda play til you find one.
Just keep dropping around the bridge at the River-Delta at the north of the Island. It only took me two tries to find a Loot Llama that way. It's one of a few spots that the Llama spawns seem to be biased towards.
The guided rocket is back. and it deals 70 damage only on a direct hit. seems like its explosive damage radius has been nerfed quite harshly. it kinda defeats the purpose of exposing yourself just to land a rocket behind a barricade.
It also turns very slowly and has less fuel Good for balance but bad for self-rocket rides

You don't need to interact with it,you can just hit it with a pickaxe or shoot it to get the loot from it faster.
