Technically proving that you are the Dragonborn with a shout is still spell casting. Also you need to use a spell to break Ancano's magical barrier as he's messing with the eye, so that would make four times you would have to cast anything.
The last dungeon for that quest is all about draining your magicka so you can't even use spells.

So i've started a new character in skyrim. He's a dark elf because I've never played one before.
I recently contracted vampirism, and when my character became a vampire his skin isn't grey any more? It's like a pale tan kinda colour.
he just looks like a high elf with a brow ridge. Is this supposed to happen, or has something gone horribly wrong?.
Rumour is that Jeremy Soule hasn't been contacted about TES 6 yet. Honestly it'd be a tragic loss for the franchise if he and his music is not returning.
TES VI is still in the designing phase, they just gave us a teaser made in Skyrim so they can say "see guys, TES VI is in development!". It'll be another 5-8 years before the game is released.
maybe in TES VI they'll finally make glass armor not look like a mardi gras costume
yeah, there probably won't be anything to put music on for another 2 years.
If I had to guess it was because they just announced that Fallout 76 was going to be multiplayer which was a radical change in the sort of games they make, and wanted to placate the fans by showing that wasn't the main route they were going to take the company by revealing Starfield, their next Singleplayer RPG and a theoretical TESVI to keep the rioting to a minimum
Fair point even if we know both will have online components.
Bethesda is good at this kind of marketing at least. Notice how the new Diablo and Alien mobile games sparked huge outrage and Fallout Shelter... didn't.
I would hesitate to call it "good" because it should be a pretty basic consideration when putting out your mobile game to not tease it like a big ticket release and it's best to pair it with a bigger announcement, like how Blades got presented alongside Fallout 76 and several other updates on their products.
Hell, Bethesda said it themselves: "There would be pitchforks at the gate"
i bet they'll still be using NIF model format.
And the engine won't support changing collision geometry for actors, thus no crouching under objects, because ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Seems like the new ESO chapter may continue the Three Banner War saga and finally put an end to it. Thanks to Abnur Tharn.

The reason was most probably because Fallout Shelter was made to build hype for FO4, a game that was well in development, while Diablo and Alien was announced without any big PC/console release.
Now you could say "But what about blades?", which is a fair question. The answer there, I would say is that it was announced along with F076 and Bethesda's fans know not to expect several big games released close to each other.
Reason why fallout shelter didn't spark outrage was:
It wasn't a mobile game released to a market that was expecting it to be on a core platform. Beth clearly said it was a side thing.
It wasn't an indication of where the fallout franchise was to go into the future. Again, beth said is was a side thing, and there was already the main game announced for core platforms.
It wasn't a game released in a franchise that has lacked a game for sometime, to the point where franchise fans have to worry that the franchise would transform into a mobile game series. Beth announced it at the same conference that showed FO4, and we all knew that fallout 4 was coming before hand.
TES VI will be a rebranded Skyrim :v
Also, Bethesda released this:

Just bought TES:O during the winter sale, gotta say I'm genuinly surprised by how good it is, one of the best MMO's I've ever played
Seriously, it may not be considered as a good elder scrolls game but it surely is one of the best mmorpgs that I've played in a long time.
With that being said, since I hated my argonian templar so much I just went ahead and created a khajit nightblade and named it Wares-For-Coins
Looking at your avatar I don't know if you're serious or not.
The thing that annoyed me the most about CoW was Tolfdir's dumb ass, y'know the Master of Alteration and one of Skyrim's foremost magic scholars, standing around like a lemon constantly on about how he has no idea what's happening.
On the topic of ESO, it's definitely the only MMO outside of WoW i've consistently stuck with into the endgame and enjoy playing a lot.
This isn't directly related to TES but Jeremy Soule's Northerner is supposed to release this December, that's 6 years and 9 months since it first appeared on Kickstarter. Pretty insane.

Texture mods from Oldrim will work in SE without any issues right?
Landscape textures will be super shiny. Everything else will be fine.
