Looks like it wont launch on my phone even with the .apk, samsung galaxy s6 is too old.
What about on iOS? What are the supported iPhones?
Shamelessly stolen from reddit Some guy asked SkyrimGTX for his mods, this was his response. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/199089/7144a1c4-7df3-49bb-a6fb-0dd4da197fce/MWijL8u_d.jpg
So the apk works on my moto g6 plus, google play store is full of shit then. Not the first time either
Just got back into ESO, is there an active FP guild or any FP groups?
my thoughts on Blades are that the gameplay itself is better than pretty much any other mobile game (which is not hard to beat, most mobile games I've played are trash), but the chests really ruin it. they take hours to open, and you can only open one at a time. I have about 32 hours of chests right now and I can't really do anything until they're open, because they're basically the only way to get good gear, because they've very quickly ramped up the difficulty to the point where the story quests I'm at are effectively impossible with what I have.
I completely agree. I'm sitting at 17 'silver' chests which would take 3 hours each. They could make literally one change: Make opening chests be instant. Everything else would work perfectly, and the rest of things that require gems are fine, it's just this one stupid little fucking chest mechanic.
I'm more hype for the balance stuff than the actual place.
I'm hyped but it's too expensive here so I guess I'll wait for a bit before buying, still have to finish the questline in Morrowind and Summerset.
If you haven't played Blades you're really not missing out. The armor design is pretty sweet though. https://i.imgur.com/GTmd7QM.png
The game itself is fun. The combat feels smooth but challenging. The graphics are unbelievable for a phone game too. Biggest complaint is the chest timers and the repetitive modular dungeons.
The gradual invites are preventing me from playing tbh. I've not had a try at all yet
is there a way to get it install on an emulator?
I mean, it should just involve you downloading the APK and running it through an emulator. At least I think, I remember people doing it with Fallout Shelter before it was released on PC.
Quick question regarding hotkeys with two mods. For PCEA2 is it possible hotkeys a certain animation folder? I have one for a relaxed stance and one for combat, and it's annoying to go through the MCM every time combat starts. And for Wearable Lanterns, is it possible to use a hot key to switch between the lantern in your hand and on your belt? It's for the same reason as PCEA2
Quick question regarding mods and the special edition. Would a mod that changes base game quests and dialogue work for both regular and special edition? There's a French translation for The Choice is Yours on the Nexus for the regular edition but not the special edition nexus.
Scripts will need recompile, and the esp needs to be opened in the se creation kit, the saved. I might be forgetting something, but i think that's it.
If it references or has a linked dependency on something now in a different place, it'll perma break. While rare, it does happen. Also any mesh included needs the new nif formatting Releases · ShikyoKira/Project Because this is a behavior replacer/injector and not an animation reference replacer/injector and doesn't rely on spells or calls before building hkx references, it's compatible with a shit ton of things FNIS isn't. However it is a beta and doesn't like NMM or Vortex very much, whihc frankly is a plus in my opinion. It also has a generation repository for unique segregated and separate non-global behavior paths (for anyone that isn't clark that means PCEA/2) You will have re organize any custom anims you have to begin with though. and yes it supports those animations, all of them.
He's talking about The Choice Is Yours, which IIRC is a quest delay mod, and I don't think it uses new meshes, but the reference and linked dependency advice is great. Anything that TCIY references needs to be double checked to make sure that the link or reference is still intact after saving the esp in the new ck. Also your post confused me for a moment. I thought that FNIS replacer was a part of the oldrim to SSE converting advice. That FNIS replacer seems super interesting. I love it's acronym. NUBE
I have to say, i'm impressed with Blades in the graphic section. The game's pretty fun too, with some repetitiveness and the annoying chest timer, but all in all not bad at all. Of course, just play Skyrim if you have any console/PC but for casual mobile user, you won't hear me complaining. I'm not that far in so I don't know what opens up and whatnot. One question if anyone can answer: there's no issue if I use one account on multiple devices, right? Like I like to use it on my iPhone and my iPad, to say.
does blades reuse skyrim assets?
Yes. Also, I was think of a question for you guys. How well would Blades work as a VR game?
It would work fine if the combat mechanic were remapped to VR Joysticks. The click and move mechanic is not too different from VR chat.
If I may ask, memes and glitching aside, do Oblivion and Morrowind (or one of them, at any rate), hold any kind of interest for someone who wants to expand his knowledge of the TES setting and also playing some sort of, you know, good game? Thing is, at the moment I'm thinking about replaying Skyrim, but I think my time would be much more well spent in playing something new from the series, like Oblivion or Morrowind or both, but I'm kinda put off by the games' ages and the fact that, well, if vanilla Skyrim is in such a state I pale to think about the modding work I'll have to do for those
Gameplay wise, Oblivion is kinda trash, at least without some kinda mods. Stealth is the least bad part of it, which works out because the Stealth guilds have the two best questlines in the game, so that's what I'd recommend playing. For Morrowind, it's kind of the opposite, I'm really not a fan of stealth in the game, but playing a mage is pretty fun and what I'd recommend. I'd say it's a better game in general than Oblivion. Definitely recommend playing with OpenMW and don't think you need any mods for it to be good.
The answer to this question will vary wildly. Personally, I think Oblivion has aged the worst out of the 3 big TES games. Unmodded Oblivion feels hopelessly quaint in a way that Morrowind doesn't because Morrowind didn't try to push a whole bunch of technology that was "next-gen" at the time but antiquated today. Oblivion's face gen and combat leave a lot to be desired. Morrowind is good even unmodded, with mods making it even better. It also has the best writing of the three.
Can't speak for Morrowind, because I always died to Rats inside an attic full of pillows. But Oblivion? It's such a vast step away from Skyrim, not a step forward, not a step backwards Oblivion is a step to the side is the best way to describe it. The visuals, just the sheer COLOUR is what I remember the most. It's like... Skyrim is brown grey call of doody, and oblivion is a fucking rainbow. The NPC's look like fucking potatoes, that I'll always admit, but I think there's a mod to help that. The story itself, and how it effects the Lore I think is just as important as Skyrim. If it was a 1-10 scale: (with 10 being absolutely critical to future lore) 10 - Morrowind. 8 - Skyrim. 7 - Oblivion. OH and bugs? I'd quite easily say there are LESS bugs than oblivion.
Hey wasn't there a talk about a Skyrim mod completely about bringing the whole Morrowind inside the former?
Yes, Skywind. Still not out. Who knows when it's done. Could be in a month, could be in years.
I guess you're thinking of Skywind. It's been in development for really forever and who knows when if ever it'll come out. It's also not how I'd recommend experiencing Morrowind for the first time since I believe they're trying to keep the gameplay as close to Skyrim as possible which would mean missing out on the more interesting RPG aspects that make Morrowind's gameplay good in the first place. I don't know if things have changed since I heard that, though. At the very least it wouldn't be Morrowind without a flight spell. That said if you're never going to be able to get into Morrowind's gameplay then at least it'd be some way to experience the world. There's a similar, less known project for Oblivion called Skyblivion (and there's Morroblivion which sounds like the worst possible idea, I've never checked it out) which I think works a bit better since Oblivion's gameplay is kinda bad and Skyrim gameplay would probably sub in fine without too much trouble. There's also the whole Beyond Skyrim thing which started with Burma and has plans to eventually include Morrowind and more, if it survives that long. They aren't looking to create the story of Morrowind like Skywind but just to use the location for a new questing area/storyline. There's also Project Tamriel which is kind of similar to Beyond Skyrim but for Morrowind, which wants to add other areas to the Morrowind engine. It's amusing.
