Has any more information about Blades come from GDC?
I reinstalled Oblivion so I could play Nehrim. Install was successful, but now I keep getting "Application load error 5:0000065434" whenever I try to start it up. Why is this happening? I've spent more time setting Oblivion up and downloading bug fixes than I have spent actually playing the damn game.
According to Beth they're going to have a playable build of TES: Blades at this weekends PAX West event, amongst a few other things, interesting to see people's thoughts 'Be among the first to try Bethesda Game Studios’ The Elder Scrolls: Blades, playable on iPhone Also for those who play it: The Elder Scrolls Online: Murkmire DLC, playable live for the first time anywhere
It happens after pressing "Start Nehrim" after starting the launcher. I also only have the basics as I don't plan to mod Oblivion much, but here's the Data Files for Nehrim: DLCBattlehornCastle DLCFrostCrag DLCHorseArmor DLCMehrunesRazor DLCOrrery DLCShiveringIsles DLCThievesDen DLCVileLair Knights Oblivion Nehrim NehrimData NehrimEnglish All are checked. I started a new game in Oblivion beforehand to get the ini working. I'll see if checking off any of the dlc will change anything.
For anyone that cares, apparently most of this content is now out. The Wild Horses pack has been delayed for some reason, and obviously the Forgotten Seasons/large dungeon pack still isn't out. Here are all the new listings in the CCC file: ccEEJSSE002-Tower.esl ccEDHSSE001-NorJewel.esl ccVSVSSE002-Pets.esl ccBGSSSE037-Curios.esl ccBGSSSE034-MntUni.esl ccBGSSSE045-Hasedoki.esl In order, it's the new mage player home (by Elianora), the jewelry pack, the new pets, the collection of items from previous games, what I'm guessing is the wild horses pack (if MntUni is short for Mount Unicorn), and something they haven't shown yet, which is assumedly going to be the Staff of Hasedoki from Morrowind. I'm not going to trawl through the ESMs to find out what they changed (because they updated all of them and I wouldn't know where to start with what's new anyway), but I had a look at the files they changed in the BSAs, and the only thing that's not a shader/script/string change is that they added animations and an Imperial saddle for horses, assumedly just for the wild horses pack. It'll be interesting to see if any modders end up using that for anything.

No, that's reverse-scalies. skinnies
With the issues with Nehrim's installation, I decided to skip ahead to Enderal. Now, I've installed it exactly as the readme/instructions directed me to, but I've come across the weirdest bug. When checking the data files, the Nehrim.esp/.esm/etc are nowhere to be found. The most important files aren't where they should be, and I don't know why...
I recently bought the goty edition of Oblivion just to play Nehrim, and apparently the steam version is a bit finnicky with the mod. I also pre-ordered Skyrim way back in the day (with over 500 hours in it to date). I don't know what else could be the issue other than Windows 10 and its annoyingly stringent security. I've set things to be in compatibility mode, run as admin, set this or that to not be read-only, etc etc etc. All I wanna do is play Nehrim and Enderal.

Has anyone had issues with Mod Organizer being unable to login to the Nexus? I've had Skyrim installed and my modlist set up for months after I stopped playing and now MO is refusing to log me in to the Nexus.
If you are talking MO1, the old nexus servers don't work anymore. those same servers are what MO1 tries to connect to. Skrum in MO2 works perfectly fine in my experience.
youve probably gotta do a manual update. there was an update a while ago that broke the ability to connect to the Nexus.
I thought that might be the case Is MO2 functionally any different than MO1? I've heard some iffy things about MO2 being worse than MO1 and I haven't bothered updating because of it.
it's basically MO1 except works with 64 bit games from a typical user standpoint. there are the differences in some implementation, and a couple of bugs, but you shouldn't notice those too much.
OK cool, good to know I'd probably just start my Skyrim run over again for the millionth fucking time because I somehow managed to get two different, brand fucking new errors on start up and all of my old saves won't work Skyrim somehow fucking managed to completely break itself without me touching it. Over the course of 4 months this game actively fucking broke itself with no human interaction. Skyrim has become sentient and self-aware and horrendously suicidal.
I frankly kind of forgot about it. The new FP editor annoys me to no end and I gave up on making something decent because it's so bafflingly backwards.
While I'm on the topic of starting a new Skyrim run, has SSE gotten SKSE and Racemenu yet? Those two mods were pretty much the only things holding me back from moving over to the special edition
RaceMenu is now a thing, but with Bethesda updating with CC content the other day, SKSE64 currently doesn't work on the latest version, and won't do until it's updated. A lot of mods that rely on SKSE64 probably won't work until they're specifically updated as well. You can always try downgrading your EXE to the last version through a guide like this (there's a comment that tells you the right thing to use in step 2 to get the last version).
There's an update to MO1 specifically for this issue. Check the origInal MO page.
anyone remember a mod that started in a mansion outside of leyawiin, where you explored through various portals and surreal landscapes? I've been trying to find it for a while, i remember it being really interesting. iirc it used shivering isles assets
the fucking odds of this are staggering https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/716/b07afbd2-53a3-4f87-9585-e1b34de8e877/image.png
Kumiko Manor?
that wasn't it unfortunately. I remember it was in the new lands category, but i've been in modding so long I still think of the site as 'TESsource', so it might have been lost to time.
Actually "TESSource" is Nexus Mods and all the "TESSource" and "TES Nexus" files should be on current Nexus Mods, unless the mod author decided to remove it...
If I use console commands while playing skyrim, does it do what New Vegas does and disable achievements until you reload the entire game? I only have a few achievements to get before I move onto Newrim and I was hoping to console command my way through most of em cause fuck leveling to 80+ to get legendary dragons to spawn
That first photo is going to haunt me until the day I get put into the cold hard fucking ground What in the name of Talos did you fucking DO Locate your nearest priest IMMEDIATELY
