While i think Megacoprs was a little rushed out ( to maybe meet a christmas deadline) i also believe the dev team will fix the game. In the meantime Glavius's mod is a good fix.
A new Stellaris patch just came out today with another just added to the beta branch
CK2 is just more fun than EU4 tbh. I'll say it's not THAT much harder to learn either. There's solid tutorials out there. But it does depend on taste. CK2 you can do so many different breakthroughs and play styles, being peacefully is not only viable but really fucking fun depending on how you go about it. You can easily be overwhelmed with the amount of stuff to do really. EU4 is just all about smashing someone's skull in. Outside of that, you build buildings which helps you produce gold which helps you produce more hammers to smash skulls in. Diplomacy is simply just about gaining allies so you can smash many more skulls in in 1 war across the world. You can build "peaceful" colonial empires but make no mistake it ultimately is just about allowing you to reach that skull from over 1000 miles away who happens to sit on valuable trade. Trade can be super cool but again it often requires certain skulls to be smashed in order for it to be worth anything. The end game is basically you smashing the ultimate skull in the form of France or the Ottomans. I guess it comes down to what you want, both look daunting at first but shouldn't take you too long to learn. EU4 focus on one main aspect and makes it super fun (Skull smashing!) while CK2 really goes in on the sandbox features and characters but smashing skulls in CK2 don't feel nearly as fun.
How on EARTH do i resupply my army in Vicky 2? Every time i build new divisions, I suffer from terrible debuffs simply because they're always under supplied. I've encouraged Capitalists, Workers, and Artisans to no avail.
Chances are there isn't enough of what you need on the world market and your artisans aren't producing enough. You need factories.
I was the fourth most industrialized country on Earth. Maybe i need more workers?
Possibly but being the most industrialized doesn't mean you have factories for the goods you were missing. That or you turned down your supply spending on accident. Either way if you hover over the supply spending it will show you what specific goods you aren't getting enough of.
Alright, thanks!
Anyone else looking forward to Man the Guns? It really was ridiculous that oil was used in production instead of operation, I'm also looking forward to the exercises for navy and air units.
I'm just excited for whatever the Kaiserreich team does with the changes, since afaik Paradox apparently gives them the dlc in advance so they can adapt the mod in a timely manner
Doing a Hands off Vic 2 HPM run, really odd this time around, first it's 1871 and the US Civil War still hasn't happened, slavery is still legal in the southern states and the CSA cores are still there Germany formed in 1864 And now Japan owns Alaska, complete with cores. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/108621/3ec70ab8-b98f-4387-8ff0-8e3191f4e857/image.png
I would guess HPM adds options for other powers to buy Alaska.
I know the Brits could when I played it years ago from looking at the event files. Either the author has added it since, or I just missed it back then.
I finally got back into playing stellaris and oh my lord playing as megacorps is the best damn thing. A huge spiritualist empire took offense to my capitalist ways and took a bunch of my space so I proceeded to use my brand power and effectively bought myself a defensive alliance with the entire galaxy minus that one faction (and like 2 others). One diplomatic insult later and they are no longer part of the galaxy, a bunch of their pops even migrated to my space and now work for my company and my energy credit income is so high I straight up cannot spend it fast enough. This game is a piece of art
Wow I just had the American Civil War end in a neutral peace, no land gained or lost on either side.
Too bad it was virtually unplayable until just a few days ago.
Man the Guns for HOI4 is out February 26th https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/hoi4-dev-diary-art-and-music.1147722/
Was hoping the British ships would have that puzzle-pattern paint they used but it looks great either way
Wonder what they'll talk about next week.

They teased some possible in-game modding tools for Imperator Rome UI Manager/editor https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/108621/34d45c4a-8dd2-4975-a470-c455d98ebe50/image.png Portrait Editor https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/108621/8f4205db-a56e-461e-abf3-b3894faaddae/image.png There's also a map editor, but Johan couldn't remember how to open it
When the fuck are they going to release that new dlc for HOI4? They really are running out of things to even talk about. Who the fuck cares about music and the art? The game hasnt had actual content added to it in almost a year!
I'd rather them actually put time and effort into the dlc instead of just shitting them out for the sake of it.

I noticed at the end they didn't announce a new diary but instead they announced a stream, maybe they're going to announce something in the Stream?
Nothing was announced.
I mean if we're gonna be real here this shouldn't even be DLC....
KR for DH has gone open source https://www.reddit.com/r/Kaiserreich/comments/alc31p/darkest_hour_has_gone_open_source/?st=JRKN4KOT&sh=cf5c18b8
You misunderstand. This should have been in the game from the very beginning
