Everbody pay close attention to just how many pops are on that planet.
I see they've made a hive world. Holy Terra, here we come.
An ecumenopolis?
The name of the hypothetical concept of a planetwide city.
Oh I know what I means. I didn't even notice you said the word.

You know, one of the issues I have with Kaiserreich is how it gives focus trees to tiny insignificant countries that has no chance of being a world power while others countries, who have more potential to be a world power, doesn't. You're telling me Finland doesn't need a focus tree while Costa Rica does?
Because there's (presumably) no one with enough relevant historical knowledge or will to work on it. The team delegates out tasks to others and then they send in their contributions when they're done. It's not a hyper organized management system.

Have they fixed the gateway issue, yet? Building local gateways that don't connect to the giant network?
Is it just me or does Republican Spain win the civil war a lot more recently?

Was a very interesting and fun game where I had to invade France 5 times in a span of less than 10 years to unite all provinces properly .
Playing Muscovy in mp game, i gave help to a friend who is playing as norway for independence. With that i took a huge hit after few poor battles against denmark. We won but i took the bill. Slowly learning that to play muscovy proper you need to take novgorod first, then head west or south to prevent ottomans from crossing the caucasus or preventing lithuania getting too big. It is easier nation than others but not a cakewalk for sure.
https://twitter.com/Martin_Anward/status/1017345674394955776 I'm assuming this is a massive rework in regards to trading, which is awesome.
https://twitter.com/Martin_Anward/status/1017432328250028033 This is interesting too, it looks as though resources in general are going to be getting a massive rework.
Hopefully the trade and resource overhauls will come with some diplomacy changes as well. Stellaris is severely lacking in that regard.
Is that a new ship set or?
It's the Avian ship set. The difference is in the top right, under Production Costs. Looks like ships use more than just generic minerals to be built, and require multiple resources (possibly dependent on ship components selected). And by extension, it looks like minerals aren't the only production resource anymore, so it's likely some things cost certain resources, and some things cost others.

So I thought I was running into a bug with war exhaustion in Stellaris when some battles would net my side massive amounts of war exhaustion with 0 losses while the enemy had no gain whatsoever despite losing fleets, Then I looked into it more and realized that this is intentional to make offensive wars an actual risk for the attacker. It turns out that attacking anything outside of a claimed system will net an absurd amount of exhaustion, while battles and ground assaults in claimed systems net expected amounts. Because I was a dingus and started trying the good ol' carpet-siege tactic, I may have lost the war for my federation, because now our war exhaustion is at 85% while the enemy is at 55%. I actually like that this is the case, though, because it adds strategy to play around claimed systems rather than revolve around who can blitz the other side quicker. The only thing that makes this more difficult, however, is that I can't find any way to actually see what claims my allies have. Is there actually a way to do this or do I just have to guess which border systems I should go after?
I encountered a bug after merging an event shipw ith my fleet. The ships in that fleet don't take up any pop cap and have no upkeep,. I now have a max size corvette fleet which has no upkeep or fleet capacity used. Additionally, the fleet doesn't gain exhaustion from losses, but still causes it to the enemy. What a great bug.
https://twitter.com/Martin_Anward/status/1019170399102341120 robot nobles on welfare? Looks like this next update is going to be adding in a TON of Roleplaying potential.
With two marriages of upkeep too, it seems
No HOI4 DD this week, they're on hiatus until August 1st, but the tease at the end of last week's was You can expect the regular Dev Diary schedule to resume on the first of August, when we’ll talk about a little something we’ve stolen from a certain other PDS game I'm guessing it's the ship designer.
Someone noticed that there was something about governments in exile https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/189625/b5ac3089-0bbf-4fe8-8eea-2de3335b860f/image.png
