Looking at how far ElDorito has come, I have to wonder if, the entire time, the accidental leak of Halo Online's beta was actually intentional from a rogue employee or some shit all leaking it for the world so it could eventually reach this point

Someone left the directory open and it just so happened that a few people did some poking about and found the a build open to the world. This all started because someone was silly with their security. Go figure.

Theories? Part of me thinks that for the moment Microsoft wants to focus on Halo being still on Console. Make a bit more extra money for potential xbox buyers before Halo 6 is out next year. There's the possibility that they have planned the Master Chief Collection on pc for later this year during the Christmas season and are trying to stop the unofficial Halo 3 and ODST from getting released beforehand for free on pc. They don't want a loss of sale, I'd buy it regardless, same is true for everyone else i'd imagine. I don't think it will be too long until we hear from Microsoft about this, when word continues to spread after the complete fix of Halo 3 Reclaimer.

Xenia can run Halo 3 rather well now, on DirectX 12. https://i.imgur.com/2D3uZIZ.jpg Not a lot of garbage graphics because my map has a nulled BSP and no weather effects.
