That would be as big of an asspull as "nanomachines changed the armor"
https://youtu.be/PTreFoLAufw
and why wouldn't it also affect older armors?
There's something somewhere that mentions the UNSC using new tech that's more or less the old stuff structurally but with all the advantages of new tech. With the excuse of gen1 providing more protection. I don't remember where I read this tho

I wonder if they're developing the engine with the intention to use it across many other Microsoft studios.

I've had a shit ton of fun in Arma III with this mod. Same with the Mass Effect mods. Arma's a great place for this kind of stuff. I just wish the vehicles for the covenant worked a little bit better than they did.
Reach style customization I’m already drooling.
tfw every attachment comes in a lootbox exactly like last time

Mark V Armor, 5500 HALOBUX (55 usd)
That doesn't preclude non-real money loot boxes
Do they still use Microsoft Points? Wouldn't surprised if they made a comeback in some way for this. 'Unified collectible currency usable across all participating Xbox developers!' Or some such garbage
Instead you will be able to buy boosters for the drop rate of the totally non paid for boxes. Calling it.
I want the game to be good, don't get me wrong. And truth be known as long as I can get a couple good looking armors the rest can get fucked. If they're largely all dogshit like in the last two games I probably won't play the multiplayer very much.
so you're gonna not play the multiplayer because of how the armour looks? this doesnt compute
Im willing to bet the system will remain unchanged from Halo 5. It wasn't the best, but it worked well enough.

I can't even get Xenia's Vulkan builds to run on my GTX 1060. Besides, wouldn't it be better to run the game at increased render resolutions before we start playing with FPS hacks? From an emulation development standpoint at least.
I made this over the course of about 2 hours, a guy on the Xenia discord gave me the idea. It requires only a patch to the games map files and cheat engine to get working. No changes or impacts to actually writing the emulator.
is m+kb possible in the forseeable future?
Doubtful. However, on that topic KBM support is now available on Xbox One, so fingers crossed that 343 adds support into MCC and Halo 5.
i just want my motorcycles
I don't know if it's just me and playing too much MCC in the past, but that doesn't really look like 60fps. Maybe I'm too blessed with a 144hz monitor and can't differentiate 30 and 60fps anymore since I'm so used to high framerates
The campaigns tend to hit under 60fps. Halo 3 is the closest to a locked framerate. I haven't seen any multiplayer framerate metrics. I believe Digital Foundry will get around to it once the second big patch comes out that fixes things like dual-wielding elites in Halo 3.
Is there a way to get Recon anymore now that Bnet is dead? I remember 343 gave it away at some point but I made a new account after that.
I think it's unlocked for everyone. At least I have it without unlocking the vidmaster challenges.
Nope. 343 did it once for any active account at that point. Any account made after that date doesn't have a way to get it.
Holy crap, someone managed to restore the Halo 2 Warthog run using the bits and pieces left over from the PC port https://youtu.be/OMahag8wEtc
