Dimund has released his warthog run recreation for H2V if anyone was interested in playing it:
Halo 2 warthog run restored
where do I put this file to make it work?
Its an Assembly patch file, open up Assembly and use the patcher with the provided file.
My favorite piece of Bungie concept art just got released in full resolution!

Where any more bits of concept art released in full res?
Looks like it was just this one: Snowy Salutations | Halo Community Update | Halo

Turns out Bungie still has voice outtakes on the Halo site.
Bungie.net
audio embeds don't seem to work for me on chrome. It's just an empty box.
The .mp3 files can be downloaded directly from the old sites. They have various Voice Outtakes, Music, Images, Video, etc for both Halo & Halo 2 (Halo being particularly rich with these, especially the music):

On the topic of Bungie extras, here are the old Destiny sample tracks Bungie sporadically released (It's Marty 'n' Mike's work, so it's not entirely divorced from the topic at hand):

So my Halo 3 360 came in. It's a Falcon with a Xenon power brick (yikes) but it's actually crazy quiet. The only gripe is the disc drive's toast, which I expected.

Well fuck, now I need to go get a modded 360.
if you want you can try playing it in Xenia. Xenia runs okay sometimes.
Xenia is plenty stable in multiplayer maps, single player has issues with random crashes every now and then.

Someone managed to get the Halo 3 engine to have a fatal error in MCC...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rv-OJn0aAuY
I just set my Xbox One up again to play MCC and i got the 73 GB update
Has there been any more news about the "exciting MCC news"?
Big yikes.
Found something interesting on the site:

Is this Reactor from Halo Online?
I'm not sure what to make of this but my only quesiton is what the hell have 343i & Microsoft been smoking this past year or so?
Not sure if its worth it at all. 3 day is $130 for non VIP, and $320

I'll go one day max, probably the Philly one.
Another year, another halo mega survey. Please check it out if you can: Halo Mega Survey with a Vengeance
I still see a few references to Halo 6 (Infinite) and Microsoft Studios (Xbox Game Studios) if you feel like fixing those.
If I change any question's title, all prior responses get invalidated.
It was actually hard to answer "Vehicle Mechanics", as while I really loved being able to swap seats inside a vehicle in Halo 5: Guardians, I always favoured Halo: Reach's vehicle physics & weight, which were deeply rewarding to master controlling, but understandably tricky to tame (If a Halo game demanded dedicated vehicle control layouts akin to Burnout or Ace Combat, Halo: Reach was it).
In regards to "Do you think that hit markers have a place in Halo?", I wish "As an Option/Setting" was one such answer, as although those with it have a clear informational advantage from those that opt-out (Assuming it's a Player-Option, not a Gametype Setting), it can still provide important feedback for those that need it (Particularly to those who don't trust their ping levels, are trying to highlight what QA might've missed or left unaddressed, or just can't cope with the more clouded audio of many games today). But it is a feature I find obnoxious in Single-Player/Co-op games when enforced, as that essentially robs half of the tension away from game or distracts from the real feedback such as enemy animations.
As for "Do you want black under-suits to return (and stay)?", I'd have picked "An option I can change" as an answer were it available, particularly as I'm all about providing choice, particularly for something as subjective as player/character appearance. I did end up opting for "Yes" as it wasn't something I ever heard people talk about until Halo 5: Guardians seemed to make it noticed.
As for Armour Abilities, I don't ultimately feel "Only as a Custom Option" is my answer, but admittedly, while I am the type that prefers everyone have equal access to the full maneuver roster such as Dodge Rolls/Dashes, Sprinting, Jetpacking & Ledge-Grabbing (It sure would've been especially fun to experiment with along with being far easier on the old video projects too), these found their home in Custom Games without question where their potential was realised & unleashed, whereas they usually went with Halo: Reach's base map-design like oil & water, Halo 4 hardly was better off for their presence, and I wasn't appreciating how much Ledge-Grabbing was being mandated in Halo 5's Beta (I loved it as a fallback, but not how the map designs most common jumps required it akin to nu-DOOM's platforming. I'm very much the "Make me Doom-Guy, or make me Doom-Slayer" type.
I actually wish "Do you read, listen to or watch extended universe material?" had answers such as "Previously" or "Recently" or Saga-dependant answers, as I deeply invested myself into it during the Bungie-days (Though "Expanded Universe" may be a better description of it), but largely stopped after Halo 4, particularly as the mystery of the Forerunners I deeply enjoyed was disappearing & 343 grew far more dependent upon it than Gears of War 3 ever did (Only Karen Traviss' Kilo-Five trilogy maintained interest, but despite hearing some things about the ODST-gang books I could only deem "Pointless" & "Stupid", I do pick-up on things that strike appeal for me, particularly from Joe Staten's second book). Then again, most I know were satisfied by Halo 3 (Halo 3: ODST & Halo: Reach were fantastic surplus, and Halo 4 felt like a rough but earnest passing of hands), with Halo 4 the last time I enjoyed a Halo game with friends (Although the Master Chief Collection getting better has me hoping that can change despite the vast legacy of community content left behind, or PC ports of such games as Halo: Reach will grant new opportunities in that regard).
All-in-all, knowing Halo: Infinite has split-screen support at least assures me that even an ironically good time can be conveniently had (I dearly wish I could say the same for Halo 5: Guardians, but not even setting up a local-link made that campaign any less unenjoyable, it's Warzone Firefight any less shallowly-frustrating, nor it's utterly brilliant Forge more accessible), and the recent changes including the Custom Games browser & reinvigorated MCC efforts are deeply welcome, but I find more reason to be very content with what came before than eager for what's coming (Though if you were to tell me "Halo: Reach is getting an Xbox One and/or PC re-release, and there were official/unofficial means to restore File-Share content such as CruelLegacy's Race maps, etc", my attention would be undivided!).
They let out a hint for their SXSW announcement, looks like they got Legacy Halo 3's File Share up and working with the MCC Halo 3's Forge. No PC.
Here are 2 blurry images of H3 Forge maps in MCC:

Looks like Halo Ring to me.
Wow. I had imagined alot of different scenarios of what the announcement would be, some exciting, most disappointing.
Yet i did not predict this, and i am more disappointed than i thought i'd be. "Big Announcement" my ass.
It's exciting for people like MP and the Forge.
