Shield Block is a lot more important now, especially since, as you said, Ignore Pain has been nerfed from 90% to 50%, and is now also on the GCD.
so uh, is there any good reason for why i lost 2k hp as a paladin?
There was just an ilvl squish, stats across all levels have been lowered
Blizzard needs to stop fundamentally changing classes every expansion launch, and every major patch. This is the only MMO where I have max level of every other class because it seems like every expansion they have to fuck over a class so hard its just best to play something else. I had mained a Enhancement shaman up until the very end of Cata/Launch of MoP until Blizzard thought it was a good idea to start changing the way Totems worked with every patch, and they still don't know what they're doing with them. Rolled a Brewmaster monk, come WoD, they nerf it and remove some the abilities that people actually played the class for. I'm looking at you, clash. Following up with Legion they just threw Brewmaster in the trash. It's like a damn cycle with every class. Every update they go from Good, to Meh, to unplayable. PVP locked skills are retarded. They're bringing in so many changes and phasing them out the next patch/expansion. It's annoying. I'd prefer it if they just stopped trying to develop some PVP ranking system with ranks that you have to grind out forever. We had one in Vanilla and TBC. Then we didn't have it for several expansions at it was fine, and now they're going back to changing it up again. They need to stop fucking with stuff and give us some actual content. Not some slow ass drip feed, Return to Kara came out in Oct 2016, Tomb of Sargares came out in March 2017, Then Shadow of Argus came out in Aug 2017. Thats about five months between content patches, and then from Argus to launch of BFA is almost a damned year in stretch. Long content droughts, and features that just get taken away. They really just need to work on something stable, like I don't know, maybe finally pushing out the updates for Worgen and Goblins instead of adding in six reskinned races and two new ones, or even adding in some new hairstyles or jewelry for older races. I am slightly frustrated with Blizzards choices.
WoW is as social as you want it to be. If you just play for dungeon groups, unrated Battlegrounds, and LFR then it's not going to feel particularly close-knit because all of these systems are designed to maximize content while minimizing downtime. I haven't done it myself since the level scaling but from what I hear Hyjal, Stonecore, and Jade Forest > Valley > Kun Lai are solid leveling zones. I would definitely recommend not dungeons though, Cata dungeons were terribly balanced by the revamp and I'm sure the stat squish has made them even more unbalanced.
I've got some weird issues with WoW and friend suddenly has some awful performance hit with WoW on GTX 970m and isn't able to keep 30FPS with all addons disabled and everything on lowest settings. I tried to check if it's an issue with his laptop but nope Right now I can't even talk in guild chat because it just says that I'm not in a guild and every time I try to go somewhere with a flight master and it goes through suramar, I get dumped mid-flight into a loading screen and then into sea in Suramar with the error "Instance not found". Also it looks like I ran out of friends to play WoW with on EU again. One friend ragequit WoW after the class changes wrecked the classes they played, that one friend can't play WoW because of the technical issues, the other one forgot to pay his internet bills on time again and ISP pulled the plug, other friend quit after getting burned out from hardcore raiding and the last one is RP fag only that rarely does content. Also most people in the guild I knew went to different servers and abandoned the guild. WoW is gonna suck without friends.
Turn of DX12. It's been causing so many problems.
Most people who I've seen complain about lag have NVidia cards, which sort of makes sense since Blizzard announced DX12 wouldn't be supported on NVidia cards at launch. Meanwhile on my RX 480 I'm enjoying better performance than ever lol
Friend uses Windows 8.1 and doesn't even have DX12 available Meanwhile DX12 for me instantly crashes the game lol
Good night sweet Survival Hunter ninjas, you've been reborn as a wacky hybrid spec again.
Ugh shadow form looks like shit again. What was wrong with that cool void glow look they added towards the end on legion?
My i7 7700K and GTX 1080 struggle to maintain 144 FPS and I'm beginning to wonder if they've severely fucked something up.
Something happened in this room and I don't want to know what. https://i.imgur.com/RjmHfLJ.jpg
Yeah, the pre-patch is a mess so far. So many glitches, bugs, people experiencing piss-poor performance, raid bosses being near-unkillable because of the stat squish... This was not well done.
People will just sha anywhere these days
I really hope that the further changes to the leveling experience are a bug. Just simply taking longer to kill each mob is not fun and honestly if you're fully decked out in heirlooms you SHOULD have an easier time getting through stuff than the -baseline- leveling experience. I can't imagine doing this with just the crap gear you get from questing. I was okay with the 7.3.5 leveling shifting things in this direction a bit but this is just too far. I was hoping to get this new warrior leveled by the time BfA comes out but it really just makes me want to take one of my existing 110s instead and wait this out.
Ion already confirmed in a past Q&A that after the prune, legacy content will probably be borked for a while until they fix it.
Brother I'm trying to level my warrior past 81 and its a fucking S L O G. Additionally; What did the maintenance this morning do? Anything?
From what I'm reading, literally no point of playing WoW right now because we did not even get new content with the prepatch until next week and everything is practically fucked when it comes to doing old or legion content outside of WQs
It's more for testing out your character in PvP but besides that, yeah, nothing to do.
What faction? Im at 82 right now.
Ally. :c
i find it hard to believe that they did zero play testing and have people say "wow this is stupid and broken", just seems like an attempt to sell boosts before the expansion hits
Also they just started a q&a stream and said they know a lot of the game is fucked right now.
that's not what he said about sylvanas
fair enough, definitely shouldve done some more testing though then

Stat squish is so fucked that my friend is somehow doing more damage with shadowmourne equipped as fury than having the artifact equipped
At this point, I'd say it's pretty obvious we're going to get a Garrosh 2.0 mixed with some Lich Queen fuckery (from Nathanos), or an awful redemption story ala Starcraft 2, where Sylvanas, like Illidan, turns out to always have been in the right.
he then says 'you don't know all of it yet' so it's obvious she's just being manipulated and a redemption arc is coming
