The Sylvanas one will feature a sea shanty about what a cunt she is.
Undercity is under siege in the BfA cinematic Alliance is losing a city, Horde is losing a city.
And it'll all be back to normal by the end of it because Blizzard wouldn't dare update zones again. Just make it East vs West already.
IIRC you can find a bronze dragonflight person in Darkshore and Tirisfal to teleport you back to the original versions after they're destroyed. Though that might have just been a beta thing?
I hope you can actually explore the ruins. I'd love to stalk the rubble of undercity, killing off any alliance soldiers left behind to watch the conquered city.
I think the actual Undercity is flooded with blight, you can only explore the Lordaeron ruins above.
Yeah it would be really cool to at least explore the destroyed cities but as far as I know they're going to be completely unavailable (at least for the foreseeable future)
buggerrrrrrrrr
Honestly, I'm kind of curious how undercity will look like in BfA for the non-player accessible area. I already love exploring out of bounds junk in WoW and seeing the leftovers the devs left there. If there's no invisible walls, you could just get killed and run into the area flooded with blight and explore as a ghost. Or you could just cheat, wait for a sandbox executable to get released and just noclip there.
Well, I was going to get on beta and test this out to see what happens buuuuuut https://i.imgur.com/Wt7JUBF.jpg
I wonder why there's a teleport trigger When the content gets released tomorrow, I'm gonna have to see for myself and see where the trigger is and if there's an alternative route to that room. Or just abuse ultra widescreen resolution to peek into the room
As a NE Druid main, it will make me sad. Back when WoW first released, I was pretty young and poor so instead of paying for and playing WoW, I found a very rudimentary emulator on Limewire or something. I ended up downloading it and exploring an empty world (since the emulator was pretty simple, there was no AI or unit placement or events or anything). I was so enraptured by the world, flying around (with emulator cheats) as a NE warrior that I had spent like a few full days. Ended up getting grounded for the whole summer and not be able to use the computer. But it was so worth it. Man, this game has changed me and made me really appreciate the content that (especially the level design) that goes into it. The most likely thing is that there's nothing there. Or nothing has changed and they just don't want to break your suspension of disbelief.

People concerned about losing zones should remember that the UC and Teldrasil stuff only affects you if you've started the phased quest for them at 110. If you leveled a new night elf you don't have a new starting experience. You can also simply phase back to the undestroyed versions of these two places by talking to Zidormamu. Still, both are gone as far as lore is concerned though.
why does saurfang have the highest res armor and mount in the game
Because Saurfang is best boy
im the one who does all the work
the quests we got sucked and felt pointless. what a terrible gradual buildup to BfA. cant wait to see what boredom comes next week.
I'm glad I can get my hands on the character screen transmog without paying for a boost. And that's about everything positive I have to say about this prepatch.
you can get them by making just making a class trial for whatever set you want, you don't even need to boost them
okay something here doesn't quite make sense https://i.imgur.com/mNbQ4oJ.png
In that case have literally nothing good to say about this prepatch so far, and I feel stupid for not figuring this out sooner.
i didnt realize there were dailies after completing this week's quest stuff
Dumb question but I haven't touched archaeology since Cataclysm; is there any reason not to crate completed artifacts?
There's dailies?
no since the fragments you collect have a cap (its like 300 per race) I think archeology needs some overhaul though, its a neat feature but after solving my 800th common artifact in legion I gave up as it seemed like I would never find anything but junk. the rotation system they introduced in legion was pretty good but they really need to unify stuff, they have three separate systems from each expansion, with WoD being pretty heavily gated behind garrison quests, and mists being just sort of different in general.
The prepatch world quests were pretty fun with war mode.
whoops ya that's what i meant
