The new sylvanas warbringer short makes me think that in a way, Sylvanas continues to be possessed in some way by Arthas/the lich king even after his defeat. Like him taking her soul/making her a banshee somehow linked her to him in some way and she's doing all these evil things because a part of him exists in her or something, I dunno. Just a thought. I still hate her as a character though.

alright so here's my idea to fix wows story
kill both of the faction leaders
aduin can litterally do no wrong because of his hurry bones and sylvanas is hated by litterally everyone, replace anduin with greymane and sylvanas with saurfang
that way there's actually some potential for conflict and there's an alliance leader that might do something bad instead of light bitch anduin
At least my Horde main is a bloodthirsty pirate so none of this seems particularly out of character for him.
I feel a little sorry for all of these dr00ds having a collective existential crisis because they have to squash some wisps. At least with a Rogue you can just be all "I don't care how many night elves burn so long as I'm getting paid".
the horde also was the new empire forged out of the remains of the old world, standing against the unified alliance which was not exactly incapable of horrible stuff like the decades of internment/death camps for the stranded orcs

holding darnassius hostage would have forced the alliance to go after it, instead its now pretty much all forces to UC because fuck her.
clearly if she's gonna break the alliance she should have burned down goldshire inn, the real spiritual capital of the alliance

There's is a lore reason for the Alliance being unable to move back into Gilneas: it's been blighted to hell by the Forsaken.
Not that the burning of Teldrassil isn't ludicrously stupid, but man it would have been so much better if they didn't advertise it beforehand. Like imagine if it wasn't known to be happening until Sylvanas said "burn it".
Would still be a dumb story point, but at least it would have been a somewhat shocking moment.

Not much of a world tree if all it takes to burn it down is a handful of catapults and some spicy rocks.
Catapults that can launch said spicy rocks over an entire sea.
Remember rangers, when presented with a man with a sword, throw your bow away and kneeslide into it. Works every time trust me.
There's apparently a PSA going on around on discord that if you take portals or use HS, you lose all of your quest after loading into where ever they went and support won't restore your progress
Apparently hotfix for it didn't fix it and if you queue to LFR it causes it very often

What happens if you try to take a Darnassus portal after the burning of Teldrassil scenario? Do you get an error message?
I would assume it puts you in Darkshore like the one in Stormwind does or it puts you in Darnassus in the past.

Just read about the quest issue. Fucking hell, everything in the pre-patch is just going to shit. At least they're already rolling out a hotfix.
