World of Warcraft: Battle For Azeroth - Pirates and Dinosaurs Edition

I've played through the scenario as Alliance and honestly it was fucking awesome. Being part of that big-ass army made me feel like I belonged there, and I'm usually very much against the whole concept of faction pride.
I'm a bit bothered that they didn't choose to give chase to Sylvanas with Jaina's fancy flying ship and fell so easily into her ambush but at least we got to see some Baine-related tension which makes me hopeful for a future Saurfang-Baine anti-Sylvanas tag-team.
The tension with Baine really just cemented the theory that Sylvanas will be little more than Garrosh 2.0. She is completely indifferent to having one of the Horde's most respected and
charismatic leaders possibly dying, and gives the somewhat ominous "go die, or focus on the living" (I call it ominous because it really is obvious that Sylvanas does, indeed, consider the living her enemy).
Or split it to left and right and then enable both for both being shown.
Okay, todays pre-patch cinematics were legit as fuck. I'm hyped again for this expansion.
Fuuuck, EU gotta wait til tomorrow
I love how even when we (The alliance) win, we still lose.
Terrific writing blizzard.

So there is no reward for the battle of Lordaeron? That's... kinda lame. Ah well at least War of Thorns got us some neat mounts.
For real. 8 fucking gold for that? neat.
doesn't even put a dent in the repair bill I got for dying during the blight-wave.
No achievement either.
Fucking pathetic.
The final scene of BFL was really anticlimactic. I was hoping something would happen but no. They all confront each other, Sylvanas acts smug and screams, pours in some blight, in and then everyone runs away. Booted back to Org/SW and tadaaa
I mean, Battle of Lordaeron is the equivalent of the Broken Shore intro quest for the Legion pre-patch.
~~the reward was in the journey~~
I liked the scenario from the Horde perspective. My one regret is that I didn't use the blight thrower from treant form, but a stag running around gassing people with a cute lil backpack was still funny.
ya the cinematic I think skips over that part.
Baine should have pushed her off of the airship.

Uhhhhh
"K-BUM"
ahahahahahaha
~you've contracted blight rot~
I got like 9 transmog weapons I guess, a different color of the Horde weapons
this felt way less epic than the Siege of Undercity from wrath that it basically ripped off
I got bored and couldn't really do anything in WoW without a sub, so I wrote an addon that uses the Half Life H.E.V. fvox voice to announce the current hour

Get it from Curse when the file gets approved.
Guys, the Bats are immune to the Blight.

We need to study them to get immunity for all of us.
Still kinda spoiler-y I suppose, so click this link at your own risk. Maybe Jaina had no idea Teldrassil had been burned until that moment. A nice touch if that's true.
weapon skins anyone had if they played the broken shore scenario before legion came out. this was pretty weak. we went through all of that for 19 gold coins? please.
Yeah, just played the scenario. It's pretty underwhelming. It's completely immersion-breaking when you can breeze through it with 19 other people. The only decent parts are the cinematics.
Protip. Don't die in the blight after the scenario, takes a decade to get back out of it.
Wow, the horde scenario was really good. Actually felt like a substantial battle.
The Horde scenario was really fun, but the lack of any lasting memento beyond the mount I will never use is a bit shit.
They should have been handing out Blight Gas Mask Tmog like cheap cigars.
