Merely a setback
It kind of pisses me off how thankless blizzard has been recently with their rewards system.
Most glowing example was during the prelaunch stuff for raiding the Undercity.
I died twice in service of my king, racked up a 127g repair bill to boot, and was given 7.50.00 as a thanks.

Whoever at blizzard decided that the quest to beat a pet battle world quest with your direbeak companion doesn't count if he isn't summoned at the time, even if you use him in the fucking battle should be stoned in the street.
TBH world quests and exploration feel a lot less rewarding than Legion in general.
It seems like there aren't as many because I've redone so many of them and I've only had access for like a week.

Whether there's much stock in what il'gynoth says is another story, but it'll be interesting to see if all that is ever elucidated upon.
I do think the various lines from old god related stuff has interesting implications on lore, but we probably shouldn't be making decisions based on paranoia induced by the whispers of dead gods. That usually ends poorly.
Just got the parrot mount from Freehold on my first run, no gear though.
Did you do that as resto? I've heard people complaining about healers in world PVP but haven't run into any myself.

Encountering a wild disc priest makes me want to claw my fucking eyes out.
Made a group to try and farm that world drop mount in Nazmir, and within the first couple of minutes got a boe cape that I was able to sell for 200k.
Still no mount though.
like that shit is so fucking frustrating, I barely made a dent when fighting one because of their self-healing and shields, it's legit just a war of attrition where not fighting is your best option

Played a PvP island expedition against a blood DK, outlaw rouge and a disc preist and by the end we all wanted to die
2 invincible specs and a pirate cosplayer who throws dice and shoots you with a tiny gun
that's the exact reason I'm never gonna do PVP island expeditions

Quite a few of them can, I also keep having issues with the turtle maze quest where the turtle just shoots off into fucking orbit.
There's a pretty cool and big Darkest Dungeon homage quest in the Stormsong area but it's busted to shit and buggy unfortunately.
Really digging the weapon designs in this expansion. I mean, it helps that there is variety as opposed to skins of the same weapon, but still. If a random green can get me excited, then I can't wait to see raid tier weapons.

Fucks sake you really need to be put into an instance with people regardless of what your War Mode is set to.

Best part is when they drop you into an instance that has a war mode raid from the opposite faction doing the exact same thing.
One thing I noticed is that sometimes people put custom quest groups into pvp section with warmode on, but it's very inconsistent.
The fact one will only be able to play as a fat Kul Tiran human annoys me far more than it should
I mean like, you could roll a human, right?
