I had considered the latter (I even ran around naxx a few times to get it all), but the former is just too old for my tastes. I used something similar back in mists- but now it looks fucking odd having a hi-res elf dude wearing classic wow textured gear.

just got the feral drood challenge skin with resto legendaries, once I learnt how to actually play feral a bit it wasn't too bad!

I was reading that the druid challenges aren't that hard given how they can switch aspect spec while all us other classes are stuck with where we are. I wish my druid was geared but at 870ish and probably a week to go I'm probably not going to get there, plus the healing staff isn't that exciting to me

good, I'm stuck on the nighthold part because nobody will touch nighthold anymore

I'm glad that the prestige system for PVP is being made account wide rather than being tracked individually per character. I have the first tier artefact appearance for most of my characters, but Ive only ever gotten far enough to get one of the mounts because I don't want to play one character exclusively every time I feel like having a scrap with other players.

i'm stuck grinding valajar rep for the fury hidden appearance, and then waiting 50 years for a queue for trial of valor to get parts

so if I'm at 864 right now on my Druid I'm probably not going to make it in time? I don't mind too much since I missed all of Legion anyway, I'm just wondering if I should still be beelining for it or stopping to play the rest of the expansion.

Really depends on if you care that much about the mage tower appearance. I'm currently running a warrior and while I'm a decent Item level I don't actually like any of the tower appearances, at least not enough to bash my head against the tower fights for hours. I'd much rather go for the other unlocks which iirc are still available after BfA drops.

theh fights were tuned for 910 gear so going in before that is pretty much pointless, you will get wrecked. Knowing that we have 1 maybe 2 more lockouts till they drop the prepatch and stat squish, its probably not possible to get a toon to 910 unless you grind out thousands of shards on argus to buy a ton of relinquished gear and titanforge it.

eh, having the artifact boost post-sargeras succ helps out a lot, you can probably do a few of the challenges sub 900, but that's probably only the felworm one

fair point, I might try to get my healing druid up to do a challenge, I figure healing might be an easier challenge than others, or I might try to zerg the pally heal challenge given how stupidly overgeared I am. I have yet to finish kraul though so that might break me

haven't heard any good things about the healing challenges tbh, i've only tried the druid one and it was tedious and i just stopped caring about it

Apparently it's quite the opposite.

Resto druid challenge just needed a bit of practice for me, the final stage is by far the hardest, and apparently it's worst for holy pallies

Healing one is annoying on two fronts, the hardest part is the initial bit, then it's a cakewalk to the last bit which is reasonably challenge, but if you fuck it up that's 10-15mins gone. It's hell. I did it on Paladin and it killed any drive to get it done on Druid

Luckily I only play one class and spec and I find the Fury Warrior weapon appearances very unremarkable save for the hidden one. Just the thought of attempting to fight Agatha again sours my mood.

I found the hardest part of the holy paladin challenge was just stopping ghosts from reaching the boss in the 2nd to final stage while your teammates tried to kill each other. The rest was relatively easy and should be even easier now with concordance capped. Definetly easier than the prot paladin one.

depends on what your cup of tea is. I glanced at the healer fight for resto and its a big long slog with crappy AI party members but still druids have that nice aspect cheat so they could pull heals and do damage in either dps or tank

if prepatch doesnt come out tomorrow i will cry, proberbly won't get to play it if it comes out on the 17/18th

Blizzard would've announced it by now if it were released tomorrow.

If rumours are true, pre-patch will launch on the 17th/18th of July.
